Long term. My Grandparents made a large investment when I was born to General Electric stock, and my dad always bought stock in various companies on my brother and I birthdays. I just let it ride and let the guys at Merryl Lynch handle my accounts. At last count if I liquidated all my stocks it would be worth in the mid 6 figures.
