there just seems like somethings missing from that story. It's hard for me to believe that a 10 year olds could:

A: think he can breath in sand (it's like saying you can breath in water).

B: be unable to pull his head out of a foot of sand.

Wow this is really old and a bit sad but you know...circle of life and all that. We were all young once yet pretty much everyone I knew inherently understood that although we watched Superman fly through the air with the greatest of ease, we could not in fact fly no matter how much we wished we could. Yet there's always some poor confused child somewhere that thinks they can and they jump off the roof and somehow it's that darned cartoon Superman's fault.
