The rumor is that the explosions came from garbage cans. If that's the case then it's obviously intentional[QUOTE="JML897"][QUOTE="SPBoss"]Terrorists?CJL13
Could be, but it happened 3 hours after the winner crossed the finish line. If anything you'd want to do it right at that point as opposed to three hours later.
If you're going for as many casualties as possible then you'd do it three hours later. When the winner crosses the finish line, it's only the winner and a couple other runners nearby. A few hours later is when the "average" people in big groups finish.
Who thinks N Korea had something to di with this?
I heard something that it's someone importants birthday in NK today.
wow they just showed a guy being taken away in a wheelchair with his legs blown off over on abc news

People try to find a rhyme or reason with anything. Some people just want to hurt people, as simple as that.Assuming this wasn't an accident (which it doesn't appear to be), why would anyone do this? Who would want to hurt a bunch of fitness nuts doing what they love? F*** I'm getting sick of all the terrible s*** around the world. Hope everyone is ok.

The media always does this. Never fails[QUOTE="CommanderShiro"]
[QUOTE="Wasdie"]
Question is, once the media finds out who did it, will their faces be plastered all over the internet, newspapers, and TV? Probably, thus adding to the problem.

surprised no one's claimed responsibility yet
They may have died in the explosion. They'll know if it was domestic or foreign real fast. Bomb experts will be able to tell simply by the type of bomb, materials used and how they were assembled. I hope it was foreign. But.. not arab. That's the last thing people need. If domestic then... We need step back and look at what are society is turning into. Really hope its not domestic. But... Then again if it was foreign then your gonna have people screaming WAR. It's a lose lose situation. Fubar if you will. Motokid6
what would stop foreign terrorists from using improvised explosive materal purchased in the united states or from another country entirely besides their own?
Nothing. But simply the way it was put together, the type of explosion and just the matter in which it was done. They'll be able to tell right off the bat if it was an organized group ( and what group ) or some drugged out guy in his garage. Now.. what I want to know is.. where in the hell were the bomb sniffing dogs? I've been to the NYC marathon and one in philly. They had a team of dogs going from trash can to trash can and every nook and cranny you could imagine... Where.. were the dogs?[QUOTE="Motokid6"][QUOTE="ReadingRainbow4"]

news, just said that dogs were present but didn't find anything.
Interesting. Wonder why that happened? Did they miss the cans, or was it put in after the bomb dogs had already done their thing?Guy with most of his leg missing. I think the skin is shredded and some bone is left.[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]THE_DRUGGIE
Yeah, there's a thin, slightly bent string of bone hanging out from his left leg.
Eugh...
That's how that bone is ussually shaped. Notice how half of his tibia is blown off due to the sheer power of the impact. This may or may not have already been posted. Up close video of the bombing, really horrifying. Thoughts go out to the victims. Smh.
[QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Take the conspiracy shit out of the thread dude. And this post shows I didn't interpret your nonsense wrong. LJS9502_basic

Your posts show that you don't interpret anything. Â You just lap it all up. Â My posts are just fine. Â Go screw yourself. Â
Obviously you don't know how you come off in here. Stop whining about "who" "they" will blame and conspiracy theories for once. Though not in this case. I don't think you know how you come off in OT threads. -waits to be insulted-oh god what the f*ck now?Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon have left an unknown number of people injured. Video and photographs from Boston show a scene of confusion, with emergency services descending on the scene and bloodied spectators being taken to a medical tent. "There are a lot of people down," said one runner quoted by AP news agency. The incident reportedly came about three hours after the winners crossed the line.
