They're both great, but Shaun of the Dead is obviously the better of the two.

I was really disappointed with Shaun of the Dead. I heard all this hype for it, but saw it and only got a few laughs from it. Maybe I just didn't get the humor, but I've enjoyed other British comedies. Just wasn't for me.

I feel like its comparing apples to oranges other than both movies having zombies the movies were completely different.

Shaun of The Dead. Sans Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray the movie would have been below mediocre.

Zombieland was probably one of the worst and most disappointing films I've seen in 2009. It wasn't funny (awkward teen humor NEVER is), and it was too short to actually develop. Zombieland also re-used the same one liners and jokes throughout the entire film. Shaun had British humor and a plot, so I'd give it to Shaun Of The Dead long before I give it to Zombieland.

Zombieland was better IMO. It had funnier moments, and more of them.

I love both

Shaun of the dead has that quirky, dry, smart british humor

and Zombieland is Shaun's big, dumb, loud, but funny as hell American cousin, also woody harleson and bill murry = win

I think shaun of the dead was better, but I'd rather watch a zombieland sequel than a shaun of the dead sequel.

I liked Zombieland, but it got to serious towards the end. Shaun of the Dead was just funny all the way threw.
