What sort of issues do you have concerning social interaction with friends/peers?
I tend to get over-excited about things and I like to get loud and rage. Not too many people out there have the same passion for life as I do. =(

I suck at social interaction, since I am a very shy guy around people I don't know too well. If it's at a party or similar, a couple of drinks do wonders, and I get to meet new people easily.Neon-TigerI'm in the same boat. When I'm with my pals though, no problems.

I'm quite quiet in large groups and prefer to observe than to participate in whatever is going on. When I'm with a small number of my mates though I open up a bit more.AnObscureNameYeah, this, plus the fact that I have an incredibly loud voice and I get accused of being obnoxious all the time, even though I don't notice it myself. It's annoying when I don't know that I'm talking really loudly without noticing. :x

The S-S is the best ice breaker known to man :P After pulling one of those off, the girl usually comes to me after class or watever and asks "What were you smiling about" and then depending on the situation, I give the appropriate response 8)
I always look down i can never stare at someone directly in the eyes for some reason... :(angryguywalkingI tend to do the same, but there are some people that I can look in the eye now. But even then, it's usually for five seconds, I look away and then look into their eyes again...XD
Sometimes people don't understand me when I speak. My friends say it has to do with an "accent" I have.XDgameeer1Is that movie good? (refering to the avatar)

Yeah im about the same, but i tend to get in som interesting discussion´s though
When I'm nervous, I get sleepy. It's kind of weird to meet someone new and start yawning, they tend to think they're boring me.Bio_Sparknervousness and yawning is a common thing. I remember I'd yawn a lot waiting outside the classroom before a test started.

[QUOTE="R0cky_Racc00n"]I get tongue tied when I'm talking to someone and I'm nervous.yakk_3A girl once said hello, how are you? to me. I was sort of caught off guard, and chewing gum. All that came out was "grullbbblle" (sound for sound). it was mildly embarassing. I usually end up sounding like "Grullkuh, umm.... yeah!"
I don't take compliments well. It's not that I don't lie receiving them, it's just I never really know how to respond to them. :?
I also tend to slur my words because I think faster than I talk (not that I talk slowly or anything).
It's not really an issue but I just hoped that people would be more social to me if they actually talked to me. They always think I'm mad or something so I often have to force myself to talk to them. A good way to gain confidence though. filiwian\ That's how I was Sophomore year. If you act happy and approach them, 9 times out of 10 if the person you're approaching is nice, the person will act kind and/or silly. At least, that's what I've observed from experience.
