I'll look in my little black book................... oh it's empty. I had a few dates a couple of months back but she pootled off for a long holiday and haven't seen her since. I know what you mean. I kind of feel the same about the term boy/girl friend, because it makes me feel like I have a shot and then they'll be like "Oh we've been together 20 years" and to me that's way past the boyfriend stage you're basically married. >.>

Really? I think it's kinda cute - partner/spouse/other half/trouble n strife/etc all sound a little too growed up/sterile/lacking the element of romance/blah
I have a wonderful girl I have been talking to for like the last week. We met through OKcupid and have been skyping incessantly (and by incessantly I mean at least 5+ hours every night and we have been falling asleep together on the skype chat).
We have already decided to go on a date but the issue right now is I am both low on money and she lives a decent drive away. A drive longer than I normally would consider for a relationship, but is still possible and she happens to be awesome enough that I am willing to go for it.
After I get my next check though I shall be taking her out on a date!
i'm single. i actually kind of like a girl that i work with, but nothing is going to come of it because she is moving into her college dorms on august 10th and the college she is going to isn't close.
