For me it's Dark Crystal. I've tried watching it a few times and I always fall asleep. Also Barton Fink, I've tried watching it numerous times and it's a snooze fest.

I try not to. If I don't have the energy to sit through a movie I'll probably stop it and reserve it for when I do. I do not like spoiling movies because of my own shortcomings.

Do I put movies on for background noise or as a sleep aid? I don't do that either.

@DEVILinIRON: As someone who saw Dark Crystal for the first time as an adult, I definitely agree that it is not that good. Great visual style, awesome puppetry, but boring movie. The recent Netflix series is cool though, and Labyrinth totally holds up.

The Godfather films.

I have tried to sit through these flicks numerous times, everyone keeps telling me what magnificent cinema they are, but they bore me to tears and put me to sleep.

Even if I don’t enjoy something, I’m usually able to appreciate and respect it if it’s well done. But The Godfather? Christ alive it is just such a BORE.

Yawn.

Yes, a lot of times. Aquaman was one, I slept almost the entire movie.

Typically with superhero movies. They all kind of follow the same template and are predictable, so I loose interest fast and doze off.

At the movie theaters? No, but some movies have put me to sleep at home but that's because I'm in the bed already.

My most embarrassing confession of this kind would be 2001: A Space Odyssey, in an IMAX theatre no less, haha.

Ooooh. OUch.... Do you snore?

I think I should be probably pretty embarrassed by falling asleep a few times to Barton Fink. The strangest thing is every time I wake up, everything is on fire.

The only time I fell asleep in a theater was when Queen of the Damned came out. Can't believe someone made a movie about vampires and managed to make it so boring.

Okay , believe it or not I had to really try not falling asleep while watching the second to last Bayformers movie that had came out before they went to time travel in the medieval times. I like my share of bullshit but even that Is not enough too blow my mind...tell me I've not seen everything for I find that hard to believe

The Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was a teen. I was really high so it was probably that. What I did remember was stupid enough that I never went again.

I wouldn't know if I snored, lol. Probably not; it's not like I fell into a deep sleep, just barely enough for my mind to wander off.

Yup. Plenty of times. I've bought tickets for just that reason. There's no point fussing over finding a room when you just need forty winks.

Many, don't like to sleep with silence to usually leave the TV on in the background.

A lot of time it's some rando Shaw Brothers movie or playlist.

Exactly. Godfather is so boring and long. despite I appreciate a movie. it has world class acting, amazing storyline but waayyy too slow. Godfather 2 is even more slower.

Ghost in a shell, purely because I'd been in work since 5am and was watching it at cinema on a late show at 11pm.

So I would of fell a sleep with any movie on.
