Seriously, this video is 20 years old:

It's amazing how accurately they predicted everything except the date. Apparently, we're 13 years late on this shit.

Remember also the web was just a couple of years old when this video was shot, and it looked like shit: ASCII porn exists for a functional reason.

I'm still in the mindset that the 90's were 10 years ago. Not 20. Slow down time! :cry:

That is really fascinating. I expect all our tablets today rely heavily on this kind of early research but I doubt those people are seeing any of the profic from it.

I have stated repeatedly that Apple has only had one idea of it's own. They have done nothing but remake something that already existed and for some time before they made it.

When was the first computer invented? states otherwise as computers have been around long before the Macintosh was introduced. The first personal PC was created by IBM in 81.

Internet =/= web

I was on BBS systems in the 80's, but that still wasn't the web.

It's a scary through. Soon it'll be 30 years ago, then 40, then 50 and all awhile it'll feel like about 10 due to the way the human brain works.

The INTERNET is from the 1960's (ARPANET). The Web was created by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN in the early 1990's.
