anyone ever catch all these subtle references in childrens cartoons

It's so weird. They put subtle references in children's cartoons that kids around the age that watch them would never get.

I saw an episode of the hit show Freakazoid a while ago and out of nowhere there's this space scene and freakazoid points at a planet and says "That's Uranus

There was a time when I watched Cow & CHicken, and oh the horror, it was terrible.

Spongebob Squarepants had lots of subtle references. :)

My favorite was the carpet-munching motorcycle-riding gang of butch women in cow and chicken. But that's not that subtle unless you don't yet know what a lesbian is.
