Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman are among dozens accused of paying to get their children enrolled in elite schools. Lori Loughlin is best known for her role as Rebecca Katsopolis in Full House and Fuller House, and Felicity Huffman is best know for her role as Lynette Scavo from Desperate Housewives.

The purpose of the alleged scam was to help student athletes get into college as recruited athletes, regardless of their athletic ability, according to the indictment. It alleges that a third party took the ACT and SAT college entrance exams in place of students. The documents also allege that some defendants created fake athletic profiles for students to make them appear to be successful athletes and get them into college.

Huffman, an Academy Award nominee, has been charged with felony conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, according to court paperwork filed Monday in federal court in Massachusetts.

Loughlin, star of "Full House" and "Fuller House," also is facing the same felony charge -- conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.

I can't say that I am that surprised, but I am surprised that they were caught and it wouldn't surprise me if other big names come out of this.

This is one of those things that people just kind of know happens, but it's very surprising to see: A. anyone get caught, B. anything actually done about it.

I wonder if Felicity Huffman's husband William H. Macy was involved. Reminds me of that role he had in Fargo as a bumbling criminal. That said, I really do like Macy. lol

As with most people here, not surprised that this happened. Just surprised that they got caught.

Not surprised, Hollywood Elites always think they're above the law

Everybody knows this happens but I'm surprised they are taking action. I wonder if it got so obscene they couldn't turn a blind eye to it anymore. Writing off these bribes as charitable donations means that it's also tax fraud.

TMZ reports that seven federal agents came to Huffman’s door to arrest her with guns drawn when she was arrested.

Loughlin‘s house got the same treatment, but she was in Vancouver when the feds showed up. She will supposedly surrender tomorrow.

Karma... these people suck honestly and I hope this is just the beginning.
