Isabelle Lagace, 28, and Melina Roberge, 22, were arrested after docking in Sydney on Sunday.

The women reportedly had 35kg of cocaine stashed in a suitcase hidden in their cabin.

They were met by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) after documenting their holiday of a lifetime on social media.

The women from Quebec had boarded the luxury cruise ship MS Sea Princess in Southampton two months earlier.

A 63-year-old man, Andre Tamine, was also arrested after the AFP and sniffer dogs found another 60kg of cocaine in his cabin.

Australian authorities have not revealed if Andre Tamine is a part of the same group but have said all three suspects have been charged with importing a commercial quantity of cocaine.

The charge has a maximum penalty of life imprisonment if found guilty.

I have dated a cocain girl once. She was fun only when she was high.When she was off the dosage she was drowsy and despondent all the time. She couldn't focus and enjoy good moments of her life. She was like on auto-pilot or something. Drugs are not fun. They can actually ruin one's life. Party people who like to use drugs to unwind are not so fun next morning. And some stories of casual drug use ended up pretty badly for some people I know Cocaine is not a very strong cup of coffee like some try to present it, it's actually a hard drug that can take you to the dark side of the society you would not know that existed otherwise.

Chill out pal. I have met her at the party. And she was hiding her drug use for a while from me. I dated her because she was a good person. But I couldn't help her in the end. Myself, I have never used drugs. I was young, at the college, and I was trying to fit in with "cool" people.
