Recommend me some new R&B

I need some new music. Just went back and downloaded a bunch of mixtapes and albums I heard good things about but don't know of any good R&B that's come out recently.

Frank Ocean's Channel Orange is out in a bit more than a week. That's most likely going to be one of the best albums of the year.

Yeah I've already heard all 3 of his mixtapes. Love House of Balloons, like Thursday and I think Echoes of Silence is pretty meh.

Good looks on the Frank Ocean, Toriko. I haven't listened to Nostaliga.Ultra in forever... kinda stopped paying attention to him but that should be dope.

EDIT: Oh wow...Wow. I'm gonna listen to this all day and post final thoughts but I love this album. This is one of the finest RnB albums released in ages though. I can't wait to see this live on Saturday.

Waka said he was going to focus on his adlibs and yelling on the album & he does that pretty well. I like some of the new adlibs a lot also (though miss hearing BOW and BRICKSQUAD as much on the first record.) I guess my real issue is that there isn't enough thug **** on that LP. There's a lot of songs about booties and I think he even has a joint up there about love...when in reality I listen to Waka Flocka to talk about gangbanging and getting hyped the **** up.

So, yeah, booty shaking is great for a party song, it's not necessarily the type of party song I want to hear from Waka. I'm not saying he doesn't make these songs well ("Clap," and "Round Of Applause" are standouts save for that misplaced Drake verse) I just woulda liked to see more joints like "Bang," "TTG," "**** The Club Up," "Karma," or "Live By The Gun." Looking back, realistically, those were some of the best songs of the year. I can't really say any song on here will be pushing my top 20, save for "I Don't Really Care," and maybe "Let Dem Guns Blam!" ("I don't really care" is dope as hell too, but why the hell does Trey Songz have a verse?!?!)

Yeah I agree. Flockaveli in retrospect was one of the best albums that year. I still bump it when I'm at the gym for tracks like Grove St. Party, Live By The Gun, Bang, Karma, etc.

I missed how it's not featuring his old crew either. No Kebo Gotti, no YG Hootie, no Dunk for obvious reasons, etc. I don't wanna hear Trey Songz or Drake rapping on it but those rappers who are just as ignorant as Waka used to be.

I hate to say it but the album didn't do anything for me. I might give it a try later though. Toriko42

I honestly didn't like that Grimes at ALL on my first listen... took me like 3-4 listens for it to grow on me.

I damn near gave up on R&B. There's a few to bump here and there (and I mean VERY few) but for the most part,I'm not feeling it all anymore.
