I don't know if thats really necessary, they already remade the RBY with FireRed and LeafGreen, but that was on the GBA. I think it would be kinda wierd if they remade Gold/silver on the DS with the Diamond/Pearl engine but we will see, and its a little to soon to remake the GBA versions right now. But I guess it will prolly be a while before we see the next Pokemon game, so a remake of Gold/silver would be cool, but I can live without it, the GBC game is still cool and very playable, whereas RBY were starting to become very hard to play, but the quality of G/S was so high that it deffinitly holds up to this day. But again, G/S with Diamond/pearl graphics on the DS would be cool.
Paper Mario would be nice =) Since a new Golden Sun probably isnt gonna happen soon, why not have remakes of the 2 GoldenSuns with improve visuals or something first?
I've always wanted a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening. That was my first video game ever and will always be one of my favorites. I think if they remade that game with 3-D graphics it would be amazing. Another game that should be remade is Pokemon Silver and Gold Versions. I think that this game actually has a chance to be made. Another awesome game that can be ported is Final Fantasy VI. I have the gba version but i had a difficult time getting into it because of its age. I dont know why because i have never really cared about graphics.
Golden Sun 1 & 2 on one cartridge. If they aren't going to give us a new one the least they can do is throw us a bone with a remake of the originals. How sweet would that be on the DS?
Roller Coaster Tycoon. The top screen would keep an eye on your park, while the bottom screen changed to whatever you were building (or whatever). I mean, who diddn't spend hours on Roller Coaster Tycoon at one point??!
i say all of them. Make a Pak called DS virtual Console. A new channel on the Wii that lets u download 1 game u have on the Wii Virtual Console and play it on DS. Some of u might say wat about N64 games there are enough buttons. The DS has a touch screen so have some extra buttons on that. Cause of the games size u would only be able to have 1 game at a time on it. That way u can take any Virtual Console game on the go with u.
Mortal Kombat 4 with player Endurence and Tournament modes intact for Wifi group challenges.
Starfox 64/Lylat Wars doing the original idea where you get to play with three others on the missions (there were three wingmen and three extra control ports)
I agree with chrono trigger. It would be such a good decision on the part of square enix. It would be a wise choice. I have to agree with barney_calhoun I am not sure how in the world square enix would be able to take games with many discs and transfer them onto a ds considering the size comparison it is just not possible. I would love if they could do that but it would take tons of ds catridges to even accomplish that task and it would also be a money sucker.

Smash tv would be a awesome game they could port. I just play that game when it was in the arcades. Coin sucker that game was. I probably spent more money on that game than I ever did on any arcade game.
I would have always loved to see remakes of two of my favorite NES games; Crystalis and The Guardian Legend... Not many people have heard of those two games but I assure you they were two of the best. If a company wants to remake these games and hire me as the lead designer for the project, I'll be more than happy to see to it that these brilliant cult classics are remade faithfully!
Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask would go well on the DS. Use the stylus to move and attack. But! the D-pad would be for item selection. Like I press down for my bow, left for a mask, etc. L would be for locking on.
Also a Metroid 2 remake would be cool for the DS. D-pad would move, tapping the touch screen would fire, holding the stylus on the touch screen would charge. L would be for Missles, holding A would make her dash, B would be for bombs in morph ball. X and Y would be for toggling beams or grapples, or something.
I'd love it see it in super awesome PS3 graphics though. But DS is fine.

Ya but that is highly unlikey, they didnt even port it to the GBA, why would they do it now on the DS? I would really like to see a 3D remake using the FF DS engine, that would be cool, but even a remake would be cool.
I personally think Majora's Mask would be great ported for the DS. I loved that Zelda title and I'd be happy to shell out even 40 bucks to get to play it on my DS. It's clear that the DS can handle the N64's graphics and it would be a great way to get people into one of Link's less-popular adventures.
