When are the Neo Geo games supposed to hit the VC?

Will Super Mario All-Stars ever come to the VC? I can't wait for the original SMB3 to come out, when I try to play it on my NES I get the same ol' blue screen.HolyCheesus

 Games id like to see in the near future; Pocky and Rocky 1 and 2, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, Castlevania 5, Zombies ate my Neighbours,,, among others

Why do Neo Geo games take up so much room? It was a 2D 16-bit consol wasn't it?HolyCheesus

With that much physical room, the Neo Geo was able to accommodate some large-capacity ROM chips on the cartridges at the time, and thus was able to allow for arcade-perfect releases to the console.

One place I used to work that had an arcade with SNK games, I remember one of the techs that worked on the machines admitting that because the innards used the same connectors, it was much easier to simply retrofit a console inside the arcade cabinet and load the appropriate cartridge than simply replace the arcade board when the cost of those were getting prohibitive for proper repair. It simply goes to show that the Neo Geo was the first console that had arcade perfect games for home...

When the Neo Geo came out, each of those cartridges were also $200/piece. 

Is it possible to add points on to a Wii Points card, or do you have to get a new card every time you put the points from the original card on the Wii?CJL13

No, I don't think All Stars will ever come to VC. If they do that they would make only $8.00 (800 points) each time a person buys it. But if they sell each game seperatly they get more money. 

Oh yeah, those cartigies were pretty huge.

I think Super mario All-Stars should releaase around the Wiis death. Im still thinking when I get Nintendos next system, do I have to download all my games again? Its also nice to play those classics with the updated SNES grahics.

So is the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2(super Mario the Lost Levels in Europe I think) going to the virtual consol, or is the US version going to hit instead.(Super Mario USA in Japan)

There are no updated SNES graphics or any updated graphics for thoes games... Thoes games are 100% pure original. NOthing was done to them, the only thing they did to it was emulate it, no control changing or graphics enhancement

I highly doubt the MSX will come at least not outside of Japan but the Neo Geo is coming. SNK confirmed it's not only in Japan that the Neo Geo is coming but it's a worldwide release. So any regions who had the Neo Geo will have the VC games.

I don't know any of that information yet. But they will probably put as many games on the VC as possible.
