Has any1 else found that since buying their wii, they have spent more time playing old school downloaded games than playing wii games themselves? Big up Sonic and Street Fighter!

No, I have many more times the number of Wii games then VC games.
They're fun here and there but not for a long time

Kind of, i played some Wii Sports, beat Zelda and i didnt have anything to play. I downloaded a couple VC games, and that keeps me busy. The VC really owns, now i have the chance to play all those games that i played in my childhood. Buying a Wii just for the classics was worth it.

Playing old favorites on the VC is amazing but soon you will be buying some great Wii titles that will take up most of your time

I'm playing a lot of VC games right now to pass the time between Zelda (which I'm almost finished with) and next month when we get a few more titles. Mario Party 8, Cooking Mama, Super Paper Mario, Medal of Honour. I have 14 VC titles right now and I play a couple every night for a few minutes. I'm currently replaying through Super Mario World and having a blast. So I've been about 50% Wii and 50% VC. Once the bigger Wii titles come out I'll be playing that a lot more than the VC

the wii is an awesome console in all aspects. i cant find any faults with it, except maybe that the graphics arent as good as ps3/x360. but graphics dont make games, plus the graphics are good anyway, just not AS good. virtual console was a great idea, and the wii will go down in history.

It does seem that I got the Wii just for the VC

When I think about it, for the price of 2 hot new games for the Wii, I got 16 VC titles.

This was kinda my reasoning behind all the VC titles I have as well. Most of them are ones I play regularly too, so they're getting paid for with the sheer amount of play they get.

I have notice this too... I think its because we have one like 3 good games for Wii and all the retro games have already been made... I hope we get more good Wii games soon.
