SPM just beat out MP3. I didn't like MP3 as much as I thought I would, mainly because it lost core Metroid elements in favour of more generic FPS elements.
As of uncommon's post here are the results. Not everyone pointed out 5 games, thus why the totals don't add up. From the numbers you will notice we have 3 people that can predict the future (MK Wii) or make prejudgements, so watch out for them. I bet some people only put what they have played... how else can Wii Play show up on a top 5? TWICE! There is a clear cut top 6 though, which I think the TC was looking for. I didn't have any because I only have one or two games I really like for the Wii... I'm still working through the GC games I missed. Trauma Center is my favorite by far though. Of the ones I have played, SMG, SSBB... the others shouldn't make a top 5 even if they are the only other 2 I've played... Anyhow, I had to do something more interesting that just putting my own list...

The only gmaes I have got in that list are Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I can't be sure about the rest of the games, but judging from my past experiences with the games when they were on the Nintendo 64, I'd say my list is very good.
