thinking about buying one of those games but i have no experiance playing them. so i want some opinionsdefault5
SMG>>>TP IMO.
Zelda TP > SMG
dont take my word for it though, cause im a Zelda fanboy(no, I dont consider myself a nintendo fanboy anymore)
well i am kinda lokking for a longlasting game that is fun as well. and doesnt get repetitve to quickly!default5
well in that case pick twilight princess it's a pretty long game if you want to get everything acomplished. It's so long lasting because of some of the intense dungeon puzzles And it is pretty fun. Plus it has a great stroyline. SMG is fun as well but might not be as long lasting, unless you want to collect everysingle star. But the levels do get a tad repetetive after a while.
LoZTP is a better choice than SMG
Mario Galaxy is too easy... Zelda was quite a challenge and it is a long game to keep to interested for a long time
Zelda's story is awesome
Mario Galaxy's galaxy is kinda cheesy
More Wii features in Zelda
Mario all you do is use the Wii remote to collect stuff
They're both fantastic, it just depends on what franchise or what type of game you like better if you're going to pick only one.
You'll get a good game either way. Galaxy is a more unique experience, while TP feels just like all the other Zeldas. That being said, I got bored with both of them, but I did eventually go back and beat TP.
Super Mario Galaxy is the best game on Wii and best game of this generation, in my opinion.
Twilight Princess was the most disappointing game I've played on the Wii.
Both are great games, but both have a flaw too. Get Zelda if you like long, with puzzles and a few fights along the way and a great story, but be warned, the graphics are pretty bad. Get mario if you want short sweet and fun, with not a whole lot of depth, that leaves a lasting impression. In all honesty though, get SSBB. More worth it = )5sonic

The Wiimote functionality in Zelda was a gimmick, except from the aiming.
I'd definitely recommend Zelda, but I'm a huge fangirl. I'm probably biased. xp
Really though, it depends on your style. They're very different from one another. Either way you go, I'm sure you won't be too disappointed.

I only played Twilight Princess as the GC game it was originally intended to be.
Super Mario Galaxy is the better game in that it features extremely innovative and solid gameplay, but I found Twilight Princess a lot more enjoyable since Zelda is more of my thing, and I actually had the feeling I was part of the game, which is always a plus.

Same here. I have a Wii but I wanted the GC version.
You're missing out. The Wii controls are far superior.
Fixed, sorry for double post
SMG and TP are the two best games on the Wii imo, and I don't think you will be disappointed with either. Mario is more creative and has some of the coolest gameplay you will ever experience. Zelda is much more epic and has a good story. It is also longerthan SMG too. It really comes down to whether you want the best platformer around or one of the best adventure games around.nakasa5
Zelda hands down. As awesome and addictive as SMG is, it is also very repetative which isn't a bad thing in my opinion for this game. However, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is by far the greatest Zelda yet. The puzzles are great, the dungons are bigger than ever, and the story is also very good.
i would go with mario galaxy... im absolutely loving it at the mo.. i played it for 8hours today i love it.. cant get enough
zelda is fantastic though,, i only played it on gamecube though mainly cos im a zelda fanboy and i needed link to be left handed.. as in the wii version everything is switched around. and i mean everything

That's debatable, not to mention the Wii version has the overly annoying Fairy Pointer and has a fake, mirrored version of Hyrule.
