So who all got Ocarina of Time 3D today?

I know there are several Zelda threads already, but this one will serve the purpose of visual representation via poll. I got it today, but only because Best Buy was giving away 25 dollar gift cards with purchase of another 3DS game.

I went to the store at 11:30 and they didn't have it on the shelf, then to gamestop, which wasn't open. So I'm going to get it in 30 minutes or so.

I liked the 3d and all but i ended up taking it out to use the camera moving around thing xD its fun!

I got it I'm playing OOT for the second time. I didn't care for the N64 version when it came out. I'm glad I didn't play it over and over and get burned out on it. Playing the 3ds version for me is a whole new experiance.I think it's awesome so far.

Yeah haha. Well, to be honest I have played a BIT of it; up till around the second temple, but I honestly don't remember it at all.

I got it Friday (UK!) and have been playing it solidly since then. Can't get enough of it.

I sure did, I pre-ordered about a week ago because of this deal Gamestop Canada was having, (trade in one game and buy OoT 3D for $14.99).:D

I'm at the second dungeon now, but I'm going to take some time off now. Played about 4 hours thus far.:P It's amazing, especially considering how I haven't played OoT since 03, and that was my second time actually.:P I replayed it before playing Wind Waker, and I have a feeling that I'll be playing Ocarina 3D and Wind Waker again once I'm done with Skyward Sword since it's a prequel to Ocarina.:)

I'll be getting it next pay check. Food and Gas come first, you know? :)

anyway, im having mixed feelings. Its fun, but im also not a big puzzle man. I find the z-targeting a little outdated, but it still works. Looking forward to playing through it though. I will beat this game, despite the fact that i've only ever finished like 3 other games in my life. Anyway, glad there are online strategy guides :D

I'd accept a Wind Waker remake, but I'd prefer a Wind Waker sequel on 3DS. (hey we got Luigi's Mansion 2!)

funny story. I picked mines up at gamestop and they were like did u pre order and i said no and they were liek WHY WHY DIDNT U PREORDER you would of got a discount and bonus stuff and iwas like o-o the whole time but at the end i still got ma game :D

registerd on club nintendo for the hell of it today and posted 5 games on their and my 3ds and stuff and now I have 320 coint (waiting on the 40 extra for linking my 3DS to it)

Anything specail on the coins? I cant find my other game club nintendo stuff only only could find 5 xD

I also registers Oot and got a free disc so do I have to pay for shipping or is it free?

Ahh, so you haven't even made it to the Water Temple then. Well, from what I heard, they toned down the difficulty of that temple in this version. I remember when I played the original game, it took me more than four hours to figure out.JustPlainLucas

Daaaaamn, four hours huh? I hope it doesn't take me quite as long :P. So far I've been taking my time though; I'm at the end of the second dungeon and I've played about 3.5 hours worth.

I never played the original so it was pretty much a must buy for me. I sure did get it today.

The song after you leave hyrule castle for the first time keeps on reminding me of pokemon for some reason.

Anyway, i just got to that part and zelda's lullaby sounded beautiful. I've heard it for sure, probably in super smash, but damn, it just sounded so good coming from the ingame ocarina.

anyway, i'm starting to like this game, though it started out kinda slow :P

btw, do i have to start from the treehouse after every save :( ?

Got it. Love it. Everything is undeniably polished, but considering the game that was ported over; it was to be expected.

Finally, a game that makes the 3DS worth the money I spent.

I already have the GCN version.

I'll be getting it tomorrow. Looking forward to the game. Bought it from Amazon because I had credit there. Ended up getting it for nothing out of pocket. Hopefully I can register the game in time for my OST cd.

i love this game, but i have to admit, the camera looking around when using the slingshot or bow is sometimes not 100% responsive, but its not too much of a big deal

i have to admit, after not playing this game for years, i forgot a lot of what to do in the dungeons, so i'm referring back to youtube walkthroughs to find that one key i'm missing, i'm right now finishing up the Fire Temple and i just finished the Biggoron's Sword quest as well

I've got it just now because all the stores were closed yesterday where I live.
