I have a question about the OPREA broweser for the Wii. Do you need a router or a WiFi thingy to connect to the internet? Same with the news and wether channel. On other words, do you need anything to connect to the internet! WiFi, Router, what!!!

You can use either the 'Nintendo USB Wi-Fi addaptor' or a router. Word of warning: If you buy the USB addaptor you can only use Wii's internet if your computer is turned on, so I would suggest buying a router.

Like any internet application, it's useless if you're not connected to the Internet. So, if your Wii isn't connected to the Internet...having a browser is useless. Don't buy the Nintendo USB thing: it's a relative rip-off, and a recipe for inserting needless lag into the connection. If you have a broadband connection in your house (and if you don't, then you can't get your Wii online anyway, so this entire discussion would be moot) then there's no reason to not have a router, and if you're going to have a router, there's no reason to not have one with wireless broadcast capabilities. And they're not exactly expensive either.
