Just pre-ordered Pearl today and one of the lady's that was working there was talking and it sounded like they were almost out of preorder's so they are selling out pretty fast. So if anyone has not pre-ordered it and wants to get it I would go and pre-order it soon. Just a heads up.
Pokemon could make the DS real scarce in the Americas for months. A lot of the GBA audience hasn't moved onto DS games yet. Pokemon Ranger and the mystery dungeon helped move some of the audience but man the Pokebomb is going to drop soon on the US.
When I went to preorder Ruby way back when at EB Games, there was only one more spot for Sapphire and Ruby was all filled up, but since I know the manager there, she fit me in for Ruby. I preordered Diamond no problem, but they almost had a page of preorders for both.
On the topic of preoders, I reserved Pearl yesterday. My question is do I get the special stylus on the day I pick Pearl up or was I supposed to get it when I reserved. I reserved at Gamestop, btw.
When I reserved it at EB games today they said they had a limited amount and even though i preserved it I would still need to get there early, or before everyone else, if I wanted one.

yur supposed to get the pen when u reserve it i guess your gamestop ran out of them since they are limited...i got mine though :]
I pre-ordered Diamond today and didnt get a stylus, do I gwt it on the day I pick it up? because in Nintendo Power it said starting TODAY with every pre order you will be given a free stylus.

Yeah, I agree with this. I'm about to buy a DS for Pearl.
No clue. The castlevania POR stylus works on the DS you just cannot store it in the DS. Also don't reserve at a brick and mortar store often you won't get the preorder items. Online you will always collect it because if the online store runs out they take out the notice of the preorder item and contact those who ordered the item asking if they want to cancel the order. Also you won't be charged five dollars.
