pokemon black/white , worst pokemon sprites ever ??

Wow, I'm going to have that image stuck in my head whenever I use/battle against Hitmonchan in the original Pokemon games now. What exactly is happening to poor Doduo in that picture?

I am finally satisfied with the sprites after two kinda boring gens Pokemon wise.

I actually like a lot of the new sprites. My reaction to the new batch of sprites is more favorable than it was to the Ruby/Sapphire or Diamond/Pearl sprites.

There are some really cool looking Pokemon. Wargle is easily the coolest looking bird since the 1st generation legendaries.

Eh, every generation has some duds for designs. I don't think they'll ever match the first two gens in terms of good designs.

I like the new sprites. I don't see the hate. I guess because they're new. Now they actually look like Pokemon to me again, unlike Gen 3 and Gen 4.

I could have sworn I saw a Pokemon that looks like an ice-cream.

The only ones I liked were the starters, Mamepato's evloutionary chain and Kibago's evolutionary chain. The rest were pretty darn ugly...

That was not your eyes playing tricks on you: that was indeed an ice cream Pokémon.

5th gen has an ice cream cone... just like first gen has exeggcute. There are duds in every gen.

At least Exeggutor didn't end up having an omelette on it.... That ice-cream cone's final evolution has wafer on top. WAFER!!! :shock:

1 & 3 > 2 > 5 > 4 (Honestly, the pokemon were *okay* but, I found the games themselves to be awful (as well as the new evolution ideas) and am therefor even more biased against them)

To be fair though, this new generation has like 3 of my new favorite pokemon :P

I like the new sprites, but its not my favorite.

I have to admit they are some stinkers (almost all the legendaries sans the version mascots), but I like more than I dislike, so that's a win in my book.

As many have said, the 1st gen are very nostalgic, but when you examine them, they are pretty plain and simple in design.
