The Mii characters are the dumbest thing nintendo has done. seriously whyd they spend the time. that time could have been used making a username system and working on the online play
because miis are simple to make, which makes it non-threatening to non gamers. the slightest bit of complexity (like a well done online system) and they're through with the technology. take a look at how many adults respond to microsoft word. they fear complexity in technology
yea but the wii isnt targeted at old adults who have no idea how to even use a wii. its targeted at younger people who enjoy playing games and online play so i also agree they shouldnt have even made mii's and focused it on something else like online play for games.

I think it would be good if you could import your mii into SSBB only if all miis had to same attacks, however, you could make your guy unfair by building a short skinny mii. Its agood idea and wouldnt "ruin" SSBB, but it has its complications.

The same reason of puttin all those other characters in the game? What's the point of putting anyone in the game if they're not online? The reason to put the Mii's in the game is because it would be just one morer unique character that people can play as.

I think the system Nintendo has right now is more complicated than a well done online system I mean memorizing a 12 digit code and have to memorize your friends codes and remembering who they belong too...
I think it would be way cool if you could use your Mii's in Smash Bros.

I agree. I think it would do a lot to bring in the mainstream crowd if a Mii was playable. And since Nintendo is known for that... who knows. Maybe we'll be lucky.
Edit: Then again, I've gotta be honest, I would probably never use it.
I don't think that Mii's should be playable characters.Instead, they should have them replace the wire people from the 10-minute melee and all those things.
Long Read (sorry lol) Actually putting miis in would be a good idea sort of like a customizable character, like others have suggested they could be replacing the frame wires or come from an assist ball or they could just be a playable character maybe like a dozen miis as one selectable character sort of like ice climbers (don't like this idea much but could be a possibility) or as an individual character. Miis would bring unique to the game because, if they do add online game play imagine everyone playing as the same character because, they all happened to like the same one but with a mii, it is less likely they would be similar unless everyone has a hulk hogan mii (^_^). People have also failed to mention that Snake doesn't seem to fit in either, I like Snake and all, and he does have games on the nintendo systems but he is an ideal playstation character. If they continue allowing characters like snake and maybe add sonic this game will end up like SNK or Capcom VS Marvel. In plus sonic would have crap moves anyhow I mean what is he going to do run around people (offtopic).
Well you can create a name which inputs your controls and stuff (it says on the Smash Bros. site). It wouldn't surprise me if you could add a Mii to it either. I just hope we don't get to fight as Miis... that would be Game and Watch all over again! :lol:
Personally i think Miis shouldnt be in any other games other than the Wii Series. Like wii sports or wii play or even wii music. But thats it NO OTHER GAMES the miis are too blocky for brawl.

Miis should have a minor role in the game. Having a major role for Miis will definitly destroy the game... Nintendo is trying to take advantage of the Miis...So I was thinking that: While playing online, Miis could serve as Avatars...Or Brawl could have a mode made for Miis...It would be so simple and easy to pick up by n00bz (em...or so called casual gamers)

I know more adults who play the Wii than children and teens who play it. And BTW, my mother's boss - who doesn't know MS Office from a DOS command prompt - has played the Wii and enjoyed it.
Back on topic, however: I think Miis could work in SSBB. If they can make a move-set for Game and Watch, they can devise a generic one for Miis.
The only way miis would be good in ssmb is if you could pick your mii and give it moves from other characters, or possibly give it links sword. Something to that affect.
