Are there any good co-op campaign games on Switch?

My brother has left for university and we always played co-op games on the Xbox but now he's left so we're looking for something co-op we can play together online for the Switch. We're pretty open to any genre so any suggestions are welcome! Thanks :)

overcooked 2

retro games (capcom beat um up bundle)

Resident Evil Revelations 2 has 2-player online coop in the form of Raid Mode.

PAYDAY 2

bayonetta 2 has online co-op . i think you have to beat the game first. not sure.

monster hunter Generations ultimate you can fight monsters together co-op

i think snipperclips has online co-op

mario tennis has an online co-op mode

in the future:

super mario party will have some online co-op. not sure

dark souls remastered will have online co-op

warframe will have it

sega classics collection will have online coop (old retro games though)

diablo 3

Gotta say Overcooked 2. The lag is pretty rough, though.

None that I can think of that hasn't been mentioned. You're much better off playing online on other systems, though. Nintendo can't afford doing real online, so all their games have a lot of lag.

They have said nothing about improving it afaik, but now you gotta pay for it.

Overcooked/Overcooked 2. Overcooked 2 is a much more smoother experience but imo more fast paced than the original.

@branoway: Salmon Run coop in Splatoon 2 is essentially Horde mode from Gears of War, probably my favorite Switch multiplayer game mostly due to Turf War, but Salmon Run is the coop mode. And the real essential recommendation!

Outside the retro suggestions a lot listed here are actually pretty underwhelming, poorly implemented coop, or worst games in stated franchises (As a Monster Hunter fanatic MH:XX is trash). Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is one of my favorite Platformers ever, but is better played SP, DkS has great multiplayer but you are better invading than Sunbro'ing.

Thank you all for the suggestions. We've been playing Overcooked 2 and were having a good time with it! Not had too many issues with lag.

We really like quiz games and have been looking for something without any luck as of yet. We've played Jackbox to death and we were playing an awesome game called It's Quiz Time on Xbox but unfortunately, it isn't on Switch yet. Are there any other quiz games on Switch?
