3DS Ambassador GBA games

I realize they haven't announced the other 10, but has Nintendo given a timeline for WHEN they'll announce?

I think they've announced 5 out of 10. Can't wait either way.

I hate that they are forcing TWO WarioWare titles into this. If it was just one I wouldn't mind, I would never download/play it because I think WarioWare sucks but it wouldn't bother me too much, but the fact they are taking up two slots with them, especially since only 4 of NES games are any good (Super Mario, Metroid, Zelda & Zelda 2) and I, and probably everyone else who qualified for them, already own those 4 in some form already, really annoys me. I mean if they really wanted to put Wario in the spot light why not give us Wario Land 4, at least then we get a good game with him in, or if it's not Wario why not give us Mario & Luigi or Golden Sun or A Link to the Past or ANYTHING other than a second WarioWare game.

EDIT: Also, while I'm kinda glad the game is there I don't really see the point of Pokemon Emerald been included, I mean how would it work, unless they add the ability to transfer the Pokemon in it to the Gen 4/5 games it's really pointless because you can't complete you Pokedex (no trading), can't battle with friends (unless they add Wifi, which I doubt) and you couldn't really restart the game unless you're happy to lose all your Pokemon.

Cool, thanks for the info. That does make up for the lackluster NES titles.

Not listed on Nintendo's site as of exactly this moment but I hope that list is for real. The NES game were OK at best but that list is pretty awesome. I already own a couple of 'em but you really can't go wrong w/ those games.

Guys, we'll find out with an official Nintendo confirmation. That' should settle it, we can play our favorite GBA games, and that's it. So yeah. We'll find out what they are in due time for sure.

I'm pretty sure they only announced 5 games. The others are speculation. Either way the games include Yoshi's Island and Mario Kart, looking pretty good so far.

1) I'm not saying you are wrong, but anyone could post post that list and say it's true. It MAY be true (I really hope it is cause Wario Ware Twisted and Zelda Minish Cap are great games), but you got no proof.

When Will the GBA Games Become Available

Answer: The Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games will become available before the end of 2011. More details will be available closer to when the titles are ready for release.

Ambassadors will be notified when they become available if they have downloaded and accepted the Ambassador CertificateNintendo

I hope sooner than later, though. And now would be a perfect time, as the 3DS has no real releases until Mario 3D and Mario Kart.

The list sounds pretty good, except for maybe having two Wario Ware games. Obviously I'd love to get a digital copy of Emerald for free, too.

But on the other hand Nintendo would be nuts to give a Pokemon game away with how much money that would make them. :lol:

Obviously those other 5 are just a rumor. I imagine we will get at least one of those games though. I kind of doubt they'd go to that effort with Warioware twisted for free. There's more chance they'd update it and sell it as a 3DS downloadable game. Also it seems a bit odd that they'd give us a Pokemon game. There's little chance they will include the ability to trade as Nintendo already said there would be no multiplayer for GBA games and we would only be getting one color anyway. Sure Pokemon is a fun single player game but not being able to trade would kind of weaken the game a bit.
