What are your must have apps for the iphone/ios? be it games or something you use daily? I ask this becasue I am getting a iphone 4s, been on the 3g for a while and wondering what apps people are using, I use the NYTS app daily, it tells you delays on trains and updates on the spot.

The ones I use quite often are:

  • GoodReader (document reader that syncs w/ dropbox)
  • Reeder (news reader)
  • WolframAlpha (when I'm too lazy to make my own calculations)
  • ProCamera (I think it's tons better than the default camera)

DropBox

Flashlight

Coin Flip (comes in handy, believe me)

RedLaser

Scanner Pro

iTeleport (best remote desktop controller in the appstore)

AppShopper (great for finding sales, can even have it notify you when an app you have in your wishlist goes on sale)

Netflix

Pandora

Actually, Kid-Atari summed up a lot of what I would have recommended. I'd add in Flipboard, Flixter, TurboScan, all the Apple iWork and iLife mobile apps, SkyDrive, and My Xbox LIVE.

If you enjoy websites like kotaku, engadget, or lifehacker. Try the FeeddlerRSS app. All it takes is having a Google account. Once set up it makes reading all the news updates easy and in one place

-StarWalk is a brilliant 'astronomy' app, I love it! -Tuneumin Radio lets you listen to thousans of radio stations over t'internet. There's over 50,000 availible, all the big stations and less well known ones. The pro version lets you record onto your device. This is the best app out there imo. -Google Earth. -XE Currency Convertor. -WordRef (dictionary to translate words/meaning to other languages). -Skype.
