Why is my cell not sync automaticly ??

So I have a Samsung s6 with the latest updates installed and when I go in setup, google acc, I have my contacts, files and a few other things set to be automatically sync to my google account, which have more than 13gigs of space currently on it. Yet, even tho it syncs everyday, I have to manually enter my new contacts, upload my pictures or other import files on my google account. What gives ???

Not sure in what options I should be looking so that everything is getting saved automatically on my google drive :s
