The amazon app store has caused a lot of controversy. On one hand, its pretty nifty; free apps all day erry day. On the other hand, its a rather obvious tool of amazon to take android, tweak it a bit, build their own app ecosystem that requires minimal work on their part and the developers part, and call it a day. Also, apparently they aren't all that nice to their developers. But still, free apps.
