Quite a feat considering not too long ago no one thought Apple would be home to a single videogame!

Thanks to the evolution of GameCenter and the unified nature of iOS, online cross-platform-compatible gaming on iPhones/iPods/iPads are becoming a norm

Great read as always but I'm not totally sold yet. Though it has potential and who knows maybe we will see an Apple console (yes I'm a firm believer!)

I knew phones would have games eventually. But I wont' be interested tell they have controls that can compete with vita/3ds.

It's true that playing multiplayer games on an iPhone is easier than any other platform. Anything from games like Modern Combat 2/3 (mobile Call of Duty), to games like Words with Friends. With GameCenter, it's pretty easy for developers to utilize multiplayer gaming.

iControl? I know what you mean though, an official controller peripheral add-on would be most welcome to tackle the more complex genres like FPS's and fighters. However, games like racing, RTS, and RPG's seem to benefit more from touch controls
