Which Would You Rather Have In a Fight? Halo Energy Sword or Lightsaber

One the one side, you have the Lightsaber. A weapon that is elegant as it is deadly and is a weapon that is both feared and respected when in the hands of a master of the Force.

On the other side, you have the Energy Sword. Used by the Sangheilli, it's blade is composed of two partially ionized 'blades' of free moving electron based gas.

But if you could only choose one in a fight, which would it be?

I would go with the lightsaber.

That's tough to say to be honest. I think the energy sword is canonically more powerful, considering it seems to have a slight explosion whenever it impacts against something, but with the lightsaber I wouldn't have to worry about running out of "ammo" in the middle of the fight.

I guess I'd have to go with the lightsaber.

I'll go with Energy Sword. it looks cooler. it was so awesome the first time i saw it in Halo. has the lunge ability and stuff. also I'm more of a Halo fan than Star Wars.

I don´t know, the lightsaber must have one heck of a battery unlike the energy sword, lightsabers last you an entire day of work while energy swords run out of battery quite soon.
