Wii Multiplayer Games Discussion

Can I get your recommendations for Wii games? I am considering to rotate some weeks based on a console.

Please post your old and new Wii Multiplayer game recommendations in this thread. 

This is real hard to say, because when you think multiplayer for Nintendo, you think mini game collection or party game, which kind of gets boring after a while. I would say Rock Band, but it looks ike you guys might get bored out of it.

Party Games: Rayman Raving Rabbids, Mario Party 8

Non Party Games- Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Wii Games Overall: I would say Okami is a ton of fun, but it'll take alot of your time, Super Mario Galaxy, I heard No More Heroes to be fun, but never played it.

Id have to say Brawl.

Also maybe Wii Sports (does that one have online play, Im not sure Ive only ever played it with my friends at parties :P )

Bomberman Blast (wiiware)

Both would be great for community game nights and very easy to setup.

hmm, okay well then Wii doesnt offer too much really good online stuff that i know of other than MK Wii and Brawl.

Oh wait, wat about Mad World? Im not sure about its sales but it just came out so theres gottabe some people here that have it.

Im not really up to date on wii stuff since my wiis been broken for a month and Nintendo wont fix it for me cuz my wararanty is over :P

For Wii...well I would say

Brawl, definetly a good multiplayer game a bit laggy but still very good

Mario Kart Wii, not laggy and pure mayhem

Guitar Hero World Tour, another fun multiplayr but not everyone can play it on expert.

Call of Duty World at War: Why isn't it mentioned, it's an epic multiplayer and one of the best ones in the wii

Mortal Kombat Armaggedon

Guitar Hero Metallica

Pokemon Battle Revolution: Lots of people play pokemon and with the release of platinum it should be more popular but I don't think that Pokemon BR is compatible with platinum then again I could be wrong.

The Wii has lots of fun multiplayer games, of course there's no Metal Gear 4 but we can still have some fun on a Game Night.

I'm happy that gamespot is deciding to do more wii game nights because most are on PS3, 360 or PC and that's sad because there are some people who would like to participate but they don't own any of these. Congratz Gamespot keep it up!

I think we should all play Medal of honor heroes 2. It's fun and has some action :).

I say do Call of Duty:World at War for the next Wii game. It has the best multiplayer I've seen on the Wii.

And I think The Conduit is a must play when it comes out.

Have any of you tried out excitebots? Chris Watters recommended it for a future game night. JodyR

Well my pick is Medal of Honor heroes 2, it has really good multiplayer and maybe we could play in the next 3 weeksbookeysize

I think we should wait until Guitar Hero 5. It will support 8 player online with whatever instrument the players desire.

There is a wiiware FPS called Water Warfare that up to 8 people can battle it out with their water guns. Might be interesting for a Wii game night.DDRMom

I think the best choices are either Mario Kart Wii or Modern Warfare Reflex.

Both games have fantastic online with very little lag and Mario Kart has up to 12 players and Reflex has up to 10 so we'll be able to get quite a few people playing.

I would suggest SSBB but it can be quite laggy at times and since Wii Game Nights are less common than others, I'd prefer a game with more players rather than less.
