But Zelda games are very popular and common, so it's not really rare at all, unless you had the CD-i games, those are rare.

I'd say mint gold ocarina is pretty rare. In fact, any mint--boxed--popular game from nes era to n64 is pretty rare.

As far as I can tell only Zelda's Adventure is actually rare (within the context of other CD-i games, anyway). Everywhere I know to find CD-i games has Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon for sale, but I've never seen Zelda's Adventure in the wild.

CD-i itself is pretty rare, though. I've only actually seen a physical CD-i once, and I did get to play it, fortunately. Other than that, all my knowledge of the system and it's games comes strictly from what I've read in magazines and online, and online videos.

A lot of times CD-i consoles are mistaken for VCD players or basic CD players because they came from such a wide range of manufacturers (including LG, Sony, Memorex, Kyocera, and others) and in such a wide range of shapes and sizes. But yes, CD-i systems and games are fairly uncommon. What I had meant to convey was that those two particular Zelda games aren't any less common than most other CD-i titles.

You missed the point of the thread and no, having a complete set of mostly common games it not rare.

Hard to say. I have a mountain of SE/CE/UE/LE's and I have no idea which of them is the most rare.

I had a Dead Space Ultimate Edition for awhile but I sold it.

Shadow of the Colossus CE.

That's a PAL territories exclusive isn't it?

My rarest gaming items would have to be Panzer Dragoon Saga and my copy of Test Drive Unlimited signed by all of the developers

It's pretty crazy. I actually found a copy a while back at a thrift store for $10 and resold it for around $60 I think. I like Pikmin, but not enough to keep it when I can get that kind of cash for it.

I have NES game, from HES, it's called Silent Assault.

I have a variation of it, usually, HES's cartridges have cartridge slots on the top.

The one I own is like a normal NES cartridge, except black, flat surfaces.

I searched on the internet for another copy, I told people about it and apparentley so, I own the only variation of it on Earth.

I own a Nokia N-Gage QD. It flopped on sales so I think that makes it kinda rare. Also used it as a phone for 2 years. From 2006 until 2008.

The PS2 version of Metal Slug's 2006 3D version. It wasn't released in any area outside Japan, and even there it barely had any copies. It was negatively received, but I like it :D

I want one. I've heard that the few games released for it, are actually pretty impressive for a handheld.

I'm not really certain. I know the gamecube version of twilight princess is sort of rare, but definitely not extremely. Final Fantasy 3 (SNES) which I got for half the price it's going on amazin. I don't really own a lot of super rare games though.

I have a couple pretty rare games; Aero Fighters for SNES and Ninja Gaiden Trilogy SNES. I have few other not necessarily rare but in more demand; Dragon Warrior 4 and FF 7, 8, 9 Black Label.

Aero Fighters is so sweet, one of the rarest games on SNES, and it have absolutely awesome gameplay. Nice little shmup!

Unfortunately, I no longer have my rare items. I paid $29.99 for a Virtual Boy brand new and sold it for $13.00 with Red Alarm complete. I spent $40 on Suikdoen II and sol it for $40. I really wish I held onto that game. I spent $11.99 on a new copy of Tron Bonne but sold it years ago as well. In 2004, I spent $9.99 on a new copy of Killer Instinct which would have been worth a lot. I also passed up buying a new copy of Metroid II in 1998 for $9.99. Dumb mistake. Currently, the only semi-valuable items I own is Varlkiyrie Profile for PS one, the original box, maps, and manual to Chrono Trigger for the SNES, a used Virtual Boy with AC Adaptor, a complete PSP Go, Final Fantasy VII in the black case (though I recently saw both versions for $19.99 at Disc Replay), the GameCube edition of NBA2K3 (which is only $1.99 at GameStop, yet it sells for way higher on eBay), Resident Evil 5 CE, Lost Lugge for Atari 2600, cart only Conker for the N64 (which I got for $7.99 even though it sells for $49.99), Conker for the Xbox, a disc only MVC2 for PS2 I spent $2.00 on (which used to sell for $89.99 at GameStop in any condition), a complete copy of Ehgeiz, and I have paid $7.99 for the FF 1 & II soundtrack which typically sells for a minimum of $29.99 used.
