I have a lot of the original Star Wars toys. Ok, it is based on the movies, but there is an abundance of SW games as well. Other than that... nothing that I know of. However, I do have a couple of stacked boxes with all kinds of stuff in it (cables, posters, magazines etc.) I'm not really sure what I come up with if I start searching those.
Some of my rarest items:
-Valkyrie Profile (PS)
-Ogre Battle: Limited Edtion (PS)
-SMT: Persona (PS)
-SMT: Persona 2 (PS)
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Limited Edition Gold cart (N64)
-Shenmue: Limited Edition (DC)
-SMT Devil Summoner (PS2)
I really have no idea, so I'll just list my rarer items.
2 Extreme Green N64 controllers (Could only get them at Toys R' Us)
Mint copy of Star Fox. No box, but it's never been used (I bought it new, I know)
An issue of the Super Mario Bros comic printed by Valiant. Things 20 years old now.
A strange copy of Ocarina of Time. (It's a grey Version 1.0, but it's a misprint cart. The front has the serial number for 1.1, but the back doesn't have the A after the print number, plus I can do all the glitches you can only do in the ver. 1.0, like Swordless Link and fishing while using the hover boots.)
Super Mario All-Stars+Super Mario World (I have no idea if it's rare, but I personally don't know anyone who even knew this particular cart existed, let alone owns it, plus the prices can get outrageous sometimes on Legacy sites)
Mario Party 3 (again, not EXTREMELY rare, but rare for an N64 game)
Probably not as rare as I think, but I have all the PS1 FF games (original, not platinum) with the guide for each, and I'm quite proud of it :)
If I had to g out on a limb and really consider it, I would say the 2 Super Robot Taisen games on GBA or Theresia on my DS. Used amazon for both of them. (Thank god for Amazon!)
I don't have much in the way of rare games and items, rarest I have is probably EarthBound.
skooks
Same here.
I have the 2001 Launch Team XBox signed by Bill Gates. Its up for sale on ebay right now. That is my rarest item.GameCollector34Enough with you spammer
I have a PS1 stand that i tried to seach for but I never found any info on it. I guess it is kinda rare.
My JRPG collection, as well as my Atlus releases collection.
JRPG collection contains a few of the following titles (just to list some on ps):
-Xenogears
-Alundra 1 & 2
- Suikoden
-Lunar 1
-Vagrant Story
-Persona 2
-Legend of Dragoon
-Tales of Destiny 2
The list goes on though. I own most ps2 jrpgs that were released in NA. Missing a bunch still though... T_T
I also own a Sega Master system 2, a NES, a SNES that are all in their original boxes. :)
I have a Virtual Boy. They're really not too uncommon if you're prepared to pay $70-150 (depending on condition, packaging, games, accessories) for one.I have nothing really rare... maybe Legend of mana and Final fantasy VII - VIII - IX on Playstation.
But I wonder, anyone got an old Virtual Boy over here? :P that must be rare even if they produced 770,000...

I don't know how rare certain games are but I do have some very old NES games so i'll list them and see if you know whether or not they are rare.

Super Mario Bros. / Duck hunt
The Simpsons: Bart vs the Space Mutants

Lol I just thought of this one: Final fantasy 8 pc version. LOL
-Final fantasy '3' SNES
-Secret of Mana SNES
- Kirby's Adventure NES (with original box and booklet in great condition).
No the best of it all...thanks to David Hasselhof is...
Knight Rider NES
I should play that again, while trying to eat a burger...
I don't have anything to incredibly rare. But I do have a few items that are somewhat rare:
I did have a complete black-bar release of Final Fantasy VII (PS1), but I sold it for a quick $50 since I'm not into JRPGs. I also had a Sega CD console and Commodore 64 computer, but both of them simply wore out and stopped working just a year or so back. I also had a TurboGrafx-16 console, that my cat broke.
Panzer Dragoon Saga (Saturn) Shining Force III (Saturn) Radiant Silvergun (Saturn) Earthbound (SNES) Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals (SNES) Super Mario RPG (SNES) Chrono Trigger (SNES) The Secret of Mana (SNES) Suikoden I, II, III (PS1, PS2) Einhander (PS1) Chase the Chuck Wagon (2600) Halo 2600 Waku Waku 7 (Neo Geo MVS) Game Boy Light console Virtual Boy Vectrex Console Portable CD-i console with LG branding, produced at a time when the company was still largely known as Goldstar A bunch of perfectly working Atari 5200 controllers Rayman (Jaguar) Defender 2000 (Jaguar) Atari Jaguar CD hardware TurboExpress system Probably tons more, too... that's just what I can come up with while passing the time here at work.famicommander
Quite impressive, sir!
I don't think I have anything that wasn't mentioned by others in this thread.
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Dreamcast Broadband Adapter
...are probably my two rarest items besides hard-to-find games like the entire Persona series (1 and 2 on PS1 and Persona 3, FES and P4 on PS2), original MGS, Seaman with Mic, most of the Dreamcast launch lineup (American and Japanese). The original PS1 RE games. Japanese Jet Set Radio.
I used to have a Neo Geo CDZ but the load times were so dreadfully awful that I decided to just play the excellent Saturn ports instead (I compared them side by side and decided the Saturn versions were good enough).
Oh, and I have a Gauntlet Dark Legacy arcade cabinet.
-Byshop
a mis print of an stragety guide. a sealed copy of xenogears, and metal gear solid. and of course my open copy of mgs 3 limited edition
[QUOTE="FeiYenKen"]it's a fairly common fighting game for the Saturn for the PC it's pretty rare but there's also no demand for it I thinkI don't know if this is rare or what but i found this game called Last Bronx(PC) which was sealed lying in the Pound store
rilpas
I have that game for the Saturn. It was kinda crappy, but I liked it. :P
My rarest item is probably my cartridge of M.U.S.H.A for the Genesis. I've read that it's the rarest and most expensive game to receive a US release, but I'm not too sure whether that's 100% true or not. I've also read that Streets of Rage 3 is considered somewhat rare, especially the european release, but my US version still caries a higher price tag than most Genesis games these days.
Other than for the Genesis, I can only think of my copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy. I had no idea it was going to become a collector's item, but I assume that its worth is just going to skyrocket over the years like how a lot of Nintendo games tend to get overinflated price tags.
