Gungrave Ps2, it was really repetitive and really short but if it would of been any longer it would of became boring.
People don't usually talk about Jumping Flash or it's sequel, I loved them. Also on the PS was Alien Trilogy I played that thing to death, I can't imagine having a positive reaction to it anymore however. Going back to the SNES a couple of unsung classics in my opinion would be Soul Blazer and Young Merlin. Second_RookAlien Trilogy plays better on the PC IMO
Ranger X for the Genesis. I'm sure people remember the two good X-Men games on the Genesis but they never get mentioned despite being awesome at worst. Dirt Trax FX on the SNES was great as well. It used the FX chip and it's the first game I remember playing where there was an open field and you go go anywhere in that field. That's the norm for pretty much every non-sidescroller now, but back then it was a very, "whoa," moment for me.
stunt race fx-snes - this is the first game which was in full 3d rendered , not like doom ,,
this was nintendos first super fx chip racing title, star fox and dirt trax fx i believe are the only other ones to have this chip

Can't you buy Silent Hill one in the PSN store? Pretty sure someone remembers it if that's the case XD, excellent game though.
Nobody remembers Earthbound? Just about anyone who was an avid SNESer raves about that game and curses Nintendo for not producing a reissue.Earthbound

Indeed, but I do see a kind of elitist fan base that swears its the rarest game in the universe.

Yes sir, I get a little tired of the Earthbound raves. I thought it was a lot of fun in 1995, wish I still had my cart, but people need to get over it, Nintendo obviously doesn't care what they think.Seems that no one loved Batman, for the NES, but that game is AWESOME! I still "play it" from time to time. The soundtrack still gets me in!curonoWasn't that the biggest NES game ever memory wise? Something like a six meg cart? Sounds kind of funny now, but that was pretty ball busting on the NES.

Well there apparently weren't a lot of avidSNESers because the game sold very few copys (meaning not many people played it). And hardly anyone would even know it existed if it weren't for Ness being in Super Smash Bros. And even today, there really aren't a lot of people who know about the game, they may know Ness but they probably don't know Earthbound.
No one seems to talk about Landstalker of Alundra. Love those games.
Cerberus_Legion
Landstalker was awesome!
I think you'll find I mentioned it in my original post. ;)
King's Field. I'm absolutely in love with that series. It's a first-person view, open-world, action-RPG released for PS1 & PS2. It's very unique and has a strong emphasis on exploration and figuring things out for yourself. A lot of gamers don't like the slow framerate associated with the game, but it's part of the level-up system and gets better as you level up and isn't even really an issue once you get into the game. The first 2, King's Field 1 & 2, were released for PS1, and an only released in Japan game was released for the PS1 even before the North American first game. A third game, King's Field: The Ancient City, was released for the PS2. The 2nd game was the best, IMO, and felt like the largest game in the series. Although The Ancient City had the most impressive graphics by far. Demon's Soul has been called King's Field's spiritual successor.Emerald_Warrior
I'm interested in looking those up. I'm not an RPG player at all, but I've sunk 50 hours into Demon's Souls.

You're right dude, only you and your buddies know about it... straight up 1337....Snowboard Kids for the N64. God that game was so awesome. I still have it. I'd get the DS one, but I can't find it anywhere.
QWERTYCommander
Probably the best Snowboarding game of all time alongside SSX Tricky.

Love the game dude, but c'mon, you know it, I know it, this dude knows it. It's pretty widely and fondly remembered. I was just making the point that it's far from forgotten. I would greatly appreciate a DS port or a VC download (don't have a Wii but my sister would DL in a heartbeat.) The whole thing with Earthbound not being made available again just seems like a little game that Nintendo is playing, their way of showing their diehard fans that they give two poos what they want, "but for all you idiot parents out there, heres another minigame collection and oh let's not forget Lego *insert cash cow franchise name*." Yeah Nintendo hates you. Please Log In to post.
