And not the true Japanese version either. I love the American version and all its quirkiness. It was just a lot of fun to play as a kid, and it's still fun to play to this day.

While I liked the music in Super Mario 64 I can't play it for the life of me because the 3D graphics give me a headache after about 15 minutes. This list is based off "true" Mario adventure games, not spinoffs.

SMW will probably never be topped. I can still play it to this day. A true masterpiece.

I like the Mario from Super Mario Bros. 3 the best, the graphics aren't bad but they aren't good, there just right.

Super Mario Galaxy is by far the best. I would have to put Super Mario 64 second and Super Mario World third.

Super Mario World; There's just so much that works well in that game. The tunes are some of the most catchy things I've ever heard, the challenge level is rewardingly difficult without being maddening (if you want that, download Kaizo :twisted: ), the level design is varied and creative, and the power-ups are great fun. The introduction of was one of the best platformer innovations I've seen. Even the ending is the best I've seen in a Mario game.

Is there anyone else who thought that Sunshine was their favorite 3D Mario game?

Super mario Bros 3. I never get bored of playing it. I just like going back to it so many times. And I just love giant land and pipe land. :D
