Devs history.

Could this be Ubisoft's redemption for Nintendo?

ExciteBike64 was one of my favorite racers of that era, and imo the best dirtbike game ever. This is basically the closest thing to a sequel we'll probably see. So its great news. Hopefully it has online play, and the same kind of track variety and personality that Excitebike64 had back in the day.

When is it due out?

Excitebike 64 was great and this game looks like it will be better especially being online.

Just found out about this game. I'm definately "excite"d about it. Also,I seem to be one of the few who really enjoyed Excite Truck, so this is now one my most wanted Wii games.

This is good an all, but I'll always have a special place in my heart for ExciteTruck.

Rayman must be in this game.

Screw Rayman! It's all about the Rabbids now! Can you imagine one on a bike crashing?

If this is as good as EB64, put me down for a copy. I regret never purchasing Excitebike 64 when I had the chance. I rented it all the time.

Publishers have more influence over the quality of the product than you think. there must be a reason why nintendo did not pick this up but UbiTrash did.

I'm definately psyched for this game. I still play Excite Truck and I bought it at launch. Excitebike 64 was one of the best N64 racers, so hopefully this one turn out to be great as well. :)

I didn't know Left Field was still developing games. I suppose that could be attributed to them making Poker games of late.

They only made one, they also made MTX which was a pretty good dirtbike game.

Excite Truck was under-rated, however an online mode would've made it a much better game, I just hope they follow it up next year with a sequel that includes online, then all will be forgiven. :)

BTW I can't view the trailer, the player just sits there.....starting at me. :|

Right I've seen the trailer, looks good.

I also wanted to mention that if 3rd parties keep chipping in and putting some heavier support on the Wii then people needn't worry about the direction Nintendo is taking. :P

I've noticed this too, and people are showing support as Japan buying DQS like crazy and Americans buying Resident Evil 4 at a high amount. Yes these are baby steps but eventually the Wii will put out quality games at a fair amount. I predict it will be at least another year until we start seeing a good flow of quality killer titles for the system.

Awesome! Excitebike 64 was one of my favorite N64 games. Now I just need to find a Wii...
