I don't get it. It's like here's this incredibly great looking game coming soon, and no one is really talking about it. The gameplay looks awesome, great lighting, great ideas for new gameplay. Plus I like their whole drop-off point thing you do when you jump out of the plane. What doesn't look good about the game? Why is no one on forums talking about it?

I will go one better, because of 2 letters EA. Seriously Medal of Honor was a good series once on PC, but its so convoluted at this point, with the last 5 or 6 titles in the series not rising above poor to mediocre.
Because the span of time where WW2 games were made is longer than WW2. Because I'm sick to death of Call of Duty 4, Medal of Honor 12, Battlefield 1942, blah, blah, blah. I hope these games become like dreamcast. And die.

I dunno man, :P the latest, MoH: Vanguard for PS2 had the parachute thing in it, didn't exactly make it any better. On that it took ~3 hours to beat. Ultra-linear, ultra-boring.
Maybe Airborne will surprise us all, hope so, I for one would welcome a good WW-shooter. But fact is, most ppl are sick of the WW-theme in games.
Once upon a time the Medal of Honor series was good ...... then Infinity Ward left and started making their own WW2 themed games ......
Infinity Ward developed what was probably the one and only good MoH title called Allied Assault. Once they left to start developing the CoD series, it was all down hill for MoH from there.
I'm not excited about Medal of Honor Airborne because the last few released Medal of Honor games were seriously a pain in the ass. Atleast the console versions of these game definitely were. I must admit that Medal of Honor Airborne looks a lot better than any Medal of Honor game so far. But for some reason I still think that the Medal of Honor series had their best time. :)
Actually I'm kind of excited about it. I wouldn't say I'm super hyped or anything but from the two videos I've seen on Marketplace I think it looks very good and the idea of dropping in at various points and fighting the enemies in various ways seems like a cool idea. I have only played one or two of the Medal of Honour games and they were the early PS2 versions so depending how this one turns out it may be the one that gets me back into the series.
Theres nothing special about this medal of honor then the other, if they think just cuz u can parachute into the leval that people are gonne buy this thing like hotcakes, then there wrong.....
but i might end up renting it anywyas cuz ive played every medal of honor game.
