Who is your favourite character from the last of us?

When I look at that list, I realize they were all flat. The writers just aren't that skilled.

Voted for Joel. The guy been through so much you kinda agree what he did at the end.

You have absolutely no idea what a flat character is, do you? It's not even debatable. The characters are not flat.

Yeah, they are. Joel especially. He's dull. The stoic, quiet, brooding, reluctant hero has been done way better and more fun in other mediums. They should get real authors to write this. Graphic novels (comics) have been written my novelists, so I don't see why games can't be.

@ezekiel43: Well, by definition, they are not. Part of what makes TLOU special is how both protagonists evolve throughout the story. I DO agree that Joel as a character has been done many times before, but that doesn't take anything away from it or ND's take on this type of character.

I'm really surprise this poll is lacking 2 more characters from TLOU that are also popular, Ish & David especially David of all people.

I'd go for David mainly because he's a creep & pedophile. This behavior came out of nowhere the first time I seen David mainly he help Ellie and he could have killed her with his hidden weapon but he took the chance to trust her and I thought to myself, he's not a bad guy and when the trading start, he really showed his true self which I didn't see that come nor did I see what he truly is and about to do with Ellie just for his sexual desire.

As for Ish, he was at sea when the infection hit, he then came ashore to find the world in pieces, took shelter in a sewer where he eventually started a community, lost it all, and then went on a quest to survive with those who made it out of the infected-infested sewer. It is the potential for another big journey that make people love him as a character. With all the notes in the game, I really thought we would meet him.

Since neither of these 2 are on the poll, I'll go for Bill. I thought he was really funny and I loved the chemistry between Bill, Joel and Ellie had going for.

With all of that said, I do hope we get another creepy David in TLOU2 cause I didn't see that coming the way David pull in the game, I wanna take by another surprise from a character like David did. Also, this poll is missing this character: Riley Abel.

Probably Joel, I didn't like the characters as much as majority of TLoU players who call it the greatest game ever made (some even questioned on this very forum why other games bother to exist ◔_◔)

The game didn't really help as it went forward in my view. Suppose the message was everyone is a jerk, but we've already had that in a lot of games especially during the 360/PS3 period. And my personal favorite take on it is Makai Senki Disgaea (a PS2 game)

However the introduction was a great way to set-up Joels character and what he would become. The ending wasn't actually that shocking to me. He was already way past the point of caring anyone who's not Ellie.

To be honest none I enjoy the gameplay of TLOU but I never really connected with any of the characters to me they all feel like Walking Dead TV tropes.

Except Walking Dead was more interesting. How pathetic is that?
