Ok I will refraze the question what do you think will be the game of the year.

My game of the year is Risen... Not many good games for this year so far, but I guess they hold their aces for the end :D

Right now, my game of the year is The Beatles: Rock Band, but I think L4D2 will be it.

as of right now, and I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but my goty is Prototype, however I think that once I get Brutal Legend that will change everything. I played the demo and my friend has it and it looks amazing!

That is a reasonable guess.

Fallout 3 ofcourse. It's my number one favorite video game ever, besides the call of duty and halo series. who doesn't like a game with amazing graphics, great gameplay, destructive weapons, stylish armor, and an entire map to roam around. It's just like real life, you have fatigue, day and night, your own house, effects from addiction, radio stations, even radiation sickness. It's so cool.

Demon's Souls

Most likely Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be my choice for GotY. I have a pretty stong list of runner-ups and hopefuls though. They are:

• Street Fighter IV
• Resident Evil 5
• Blazblue: Calamity Trigger
• Forza 3
• Dragon Age
• Tekken 6

Uncharted 2. Yeah, its that good.

MW2 is gunna need to step up its game with the campaign if they want any chance at GoTY 2009

Let me get my hands on borderlands and Dragon Age Origins first :D, but so far, nothing comes close to what fallout 3 and MGS4 offered last year

Admittedly the year is far from over, but thus far my game of the year is Uncharted 2.

My personal GOTY so far - Infamous and/or Batman. Can't decide.

What my personal GOTY will most likely end up being - Ratchet and Clank Future: ACIT

my game of the year is Batman: Arkham Asylum. 2 months after it's release, i still have the urge to play it. it was that good. i haven't played Uncharted 2 yet, but desperately want to after hearing all the great things said about it. but for games i've played, i gotta go with Batman.

I'm sure the critics are going to be having a difficult time making their pick. This has been an extremely prolific year as far as high quality content is concerned.

uncharted 2 and fallout 3, i cant decide. Uncharted 2 is CRAZY.

So far, it's Skate 2. Mirror's Edge (PC release) is a very honorable mention.

CHAMPIONS online

FALLOUT 3 was ok, but I am a fan of FALLOUT 1 and 2, and I was a little disappointed with FALLOUT 3. But I think it deserves to at least be in the running for GOTY.

Uncharted 2, all gamers should play this game!

You have to play Uncharted 2 B. While AA is a great game, Uncharted 2, IMO, is almost on a different level. It's like playing a movie. If you're a fan of Uncharted's gameplay, check it out, you won't be disappointed.
