What is your favorite Final Fantasy game of all time

i know this post was probably done and if so i apologize but i was just wondering wat other peoples favorite ff was

i dont know why but ff9 was definatly mine but i neva managed to complete it

FFVI for the story and characters.

FFXII for the gameplay and design.

FF III, The story and characters kept me intrigued

7, 8 and 9.. the PS1 era was great for RPG's.

But I liked Xenogears better than any FF.

I agree...but out of those three FFIX is definitely my favorite.

FFX

I know hardcore FF fans will be like "WHAT LOL!!!" and all that, but I'm not really a FF fan. I played, but never finished 7 or 8. I did finish 9 and 10. In fact, I actually played through 10 a few times, just because I enjoyed it that much. I liked the art direction, and atmosphere. The world you played in was great. The combat system was my favorite of those I played and I really enjoyed the puzzles. Oh, and I felt the sphere system was awesome (something most people I talk to hated).

Final Fantasy VII

For the old-school FF, FFIV. First RPG I got hooked onto. Has everything you could want from a Final Fantasy. Since then, no other FF has surpassed it.

For the new-school FFi, FFIX. Revived my faith in the series after the worthless game that turned out to be FFVIII - what an atrocity that was! FFIX brought it right where it should be. Fun game with excellent qualities.

FFVIII, I hate choosing between VII and VIII though lol.

Final Fantasy 8.

FFVII: My favorite overrall FF and the first one I ever played.

FFVI: Intriging characters and story.

FFX: I've just started but I love the gameplay and the sphere grid.

My best Final Fantasy was FF6. I was quite disapointed about the last FF but I hope that the FF13 will be better!!!!

Final Fantasy IX

This is like having to pick between which is your favorite kid... but if I HAD to pick just one, I'd have to say it's Final Fantasy VIII.

The characters just plain made that game.
Squall was such a badass.
Rinoa was perfect for a love interest.
Seifer was Squall's equal, making him a great bad guy.

Everything was fantastic. I also loved the story and the graphics were phenomenal for the time. To this day, it still has the best opening movie of any game I have seen. AWESOME!

I liked X's Sphere Grid

I liked VIII's story and presentation.

I liked VII's dark atmosphere.

I liked VI's characters.

Heck, I like most all of em for thier own different reasons.

Final Fantasy VIII;I like more the characters,limit breaks,etc from this game than others FF.

Final fantasy IX is hands down my favorite.

FFX for me. Revolutionary, spent more than 150 hours playing it. FFXII is in a close second. I never really fancied the PS1 era but it's still one of the many PS1 gems.

FFVIII. It's the game that really got me into gaming. Before, I had played the Marios and Street Fighters, but FFVIII was the first FF I played and it just captivated me from the very beginning (the best introduction I've ever seen from the music to the visuals). It made me explore the other FF games and then branch out into other genres.

Crisis Core.

I thought FFX was the best. Some may disagree but I found the story and the gameplay very good. It may seem like an outdated gameplay style even for it's time, but I still loved it. I will apologize ahead of time to those who will disagree. I never really liked FFVIIIceman8012

Don't worry, you don't need to apologize for liking a game. It's my favorite too.
