I have finished most of the Shantae games and 100% them in one sitting. I also remember back in the day I finished the first Alan Wake by pulling an all nighter.

I'm a person who likes to take breaks though. So it's fairly rare for me to finish a normal length game in one sitting. I can usually play for 2-3 hours and then need a break.

If I'm going fairly hard at it, I can finish most games within 2-4 days.

The only one I can remember is Lilo and Stitch game for the PS1. At the time i had not a memory card, so finished it on one sitting every time (its 4-5 hours game anyway)

Maybe Spec Ops: The Line? Wasn't very long but damn was it engrossing.

I try to buy games with value for the most part, though, and a "long" session is like 4 hours so not many games I beat in one sitting.

Only smaller retro games. SMB and SMB3 are good examples. I think I also played Broforce from start to finish in one sitting, to name something more recent.

Windows Solitaire

When I used to play Space Invaders and Galaxian at the arcades, I played long enough on one quarter to reset the maximum score back to zero at least once.

I've seen some players who could do that with just one life. Not me though. I needed all the lives, including the bonus ones.

Nothing in recent memory that is worth naming. But back when I was a kid, I finished whole games in a day a lot. Sometimes I finished the same game several times on the same day xD

Not really. Launch day of the game, and happened to be off work. Can't recall if I was ill or booked some time off.

It's also much shorter than any of the Dark Soul games so is less time consuming. In my first playthrough missed on almost every secret the game had to offer, and ran past a lot of exploitable enemies locked to particular areas. Also stuck with the Hunters Axe which is an amazing weapon (would later love the KirkHammer)

Much like DkS it's also just funny tricking enemies to throw themselves off cliffs for instant experience gain lol.

Usually in the area of 8-10 hours. So it's do-able in a very long gaming session I guess lol.

Anyway, a couple that come to mind are Portal and Undertale (my second time playing it anyway). I wouldn't count DLC/expansions, but I'm sure I've done several of those in one sitting. Then there's several small games like Journey, Inside, flower, and so forth that I probably completed a playthrough in one sitting.

For me its mostly Light Gun games I can do in a single sitting cause of their short length like the Time Crisis series or House of the Dead. Other games I can think of also are King Kong both on consoles and the Nintendo DS and WWII Soldier on PS2.

Way too many to mention, I play lots of classic games and retro style indies that can be beaten in anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours so I frequently finish games in one sitting.

As far as more modern games go the 2 that I remember finishing in one sitting are Gears of War that I finished on one really rainy day and Halo 2 coop with a friend. I also remember beating resident evil 4 in one sitting, then I went to bed, woke up and replayed the game the next day.

The only game i have finished in almost one sitting is Ghouls and Ghosts for Genesis. I said almost because i made a couple of breaks from the game, the reason for that is because this game had no save function T.T

That's all I could think of too. Back when games were meant to eat up about $5 in quarters to get to the end. Add Double Dragon and Streets of Rage to that list.

I played Street Fighter 2 Genesis as Blanka all the way to the end just last week! It's only one character though. I suppose you have to complete it with all the character to qualify. It only took like 20 minutes.

I think I completed WonderBoy in Monster Land once. But I can't remember if I beat the last maze or not. I think I did. But maybe I didn't.
