What game did you keep seeing sold on physical store shelves long after their release?

I'm only talking original releases here. Updated generational ports in the vein of Skyrim or the GTA games don't apply, as they were re-releases for newer platforms.

My choices would be Halo 1 for PC (They both lasted long on store shelves. I last saw a copy of Halo 1 for sale in my local best buy in late 2018.) Seconding that would be any of the Blizzard Battle Chests prior to World of Warcraft. So, Warcraft III, Diablo II, etc. I still run into those in the wild occasionally.

@saltslasher: Heh, they've even updated the box for Red Dead and other 360 games as well, like Skate 3, just to make sure you know that even though it's in an XBOX One case, it's still just the 360 disc inside. XD

Well my favorite gaming store sells a lot of retro stuff and on the first floor has a Yūgiō corner, selling many of its video game adaptations. No one really buys them outside the packs at the cashiers desk.

The Sims.

Starcraft and Thief. I saw those at costco for many years.

Sam's had a duel pack (two games) of Dead Rising and Ghostbusters quite the number of years after release on the 360.

I worked retail for a few years and the classic Blizzard titles like Diablo II, Starcraft and Warcraft 3 kept being restocked, week after week, way past the early 2010s.

They would still sell on the regular, and we were just a office furniture store.

Crazy.

Definitely agree on WWE 2k19 also every store had WWE 2k18 on switch that should never been released.

Definitely The Sims 4. This game was released such a long time ago and people are still buying it.

I always kept seeing FIFA games being sold each year in the UK on almost every platform for both Sony and Xbox. Other then that seen The Division on store shelves quite often new and used.

It was so long ago I checked out games in stores that have them on display, but I remember seeing Diablo 2 and WoW all the time.

Ive been seeing a lot of the red dead on xbox 360

Diablo II and WoW for sure, I remember seeing that for over a decade in Walmart’s and best buys.
