$184 for a complete copy of Earthbound SNES with all parts of it mint.........
....only to be trumped by $240 for Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Saturn, again, all parts mint
I've found so many game bargains ($70 mint/complete Chrono Trigger SNES, $40 for the set excellent/complete Metal Gear and Snakes Revenge NES, $60 mint/complete Valkyrie Profile PS1, $30 mint/complete Castlevania SOTN PS1....to name a few) that "overpaying" for a few choice games doesn't bother me. It's worth it, and all the money I spend on games comes from my on-the-side eBay selling.
Including DLC, Rock Band by a nautical mile.
If we're talking the most money straight up for a game, it'd probably be Mortal Kombat 2 for the SNES in 1994. $69.99. It's why I have a hard time listening to people whine about $60 games today. Those people were obviously not around back then, or at least they weren't paying for the games.
90$ for digital devil saga 1, the guy sent cover art printed off some silly deskjet even! GRRRRR.
Rez was pretty high up there, as was vib-ribbon.
110ish for both mass effect and MGS4 limited with limited guide.
If I remember correctly, I think it was KOF '98 for the Neo Geo AES. I believe it was $150.
Coming close behind that was Battle Sphere for the Atari Jaguar. It was like $80 or $90, which is a STEAL compared to what it goes for now on eBay (I wish I held onto my copies).
My most expensive games were all bought new... Except FF VII
$130 -- Halo 3
$100 -- Guitar Hero III (360)
$80 -- Guitar Hero II (PS2)
$60 -- (Used black copy) Final Fantasy VII
the most is any new ps3 360 game now adays which is 64.00 with the tax i rounded it to nearest dollar,
but ya used to be 53-54 dollars for a new one,
the least= 19,99 for a brand new game, not used
the most i payed for a used game is 13 dollars, for goldeneye007 to replace mine which that game alone costed me 100 dollars because i bought it more then 1 time already
$200 for Panorama Cotton.JLF1
nicee... $300 for radiant silvergun sealed.
$80 for limited edition dmc4
Well I spent the most on World of Warcraft, over time. I think it was like 40$ when I first bought it, same with The Burning Crusade.. so thats 80$. And the game is $15 a month and ive been playing for 3 years. 36 x 15 = $540. So yeah, bout $620 so far :P
