But at the top of the forum boards for legacy platforms where it states you must indicate what game system you are talking about it lists PS2 as an example. So because Gamespot says so, it must be true. Right. Maybe I can accept Gamecube as a Legacy Platform, since there aren't games being released for it anymore. But no way PS2 is a legacy platform, there are still games yet to come out on it. A Legacy Platform is something that is outdated, is no longer in popular use (outside of hardcore gamers), and no longer has game releases. @bigM10231: Homebrew doesn't count. I'm talking about new commercial releases.
That's what I mean. Gamespot knows that games for PS2 are still being released but honestly, who still buys those and is nerdy enough (like me) to argue on whether they are legacy or not? So to all of us here, users and moderators, is PS2 legacy or not? Judging by how often PS2 is talked about on this board and that these are Gamespot's boards, which they also state that PS2 is legacy, I would say that PS2 is legacy, not neccessarily by definition but by popular consent.
Mega Man 2 just a few hours ago. Contra a few days ago, for the millionth time. Duck Tales before that. All for NES. And about a month ago, I finished Super Mario Bros. I've done that a ton of times, but th is time I did every single level, from beginning to end, though the first 8 worlds and again on the harder setting the 2nd time around, in one sitting. And thecreechxxx, Wolves in the Throne Room is sick!
Knuckles Chaotix. Managed to find the PAL version complete on ebay for a pretty good price! I have to say, that game is damn fun when you play 2-player mode.
Last game I finished would be Sonic 3 on Genesis. Playing it on PS3 in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Currently playing through Street's of Rage 2 on the same.
