Title says it all lol, and the last one I finished was Paper Mario on Nintendo 64. The final battle with Bowser was actually pretty easy, especially when I had the awesome Mega Jump badge and I beat him before he even healed himself XD

ME and 2 other friends played through yoshis island and finished it just the other night. Although I've beat it before. The last game I beat myself without ever having played the game before was FF5 for GBA.
I just want to point out that I love that people think games like NFSU2 are legacy games. Come on really? That game came out like 5 years ago...... Whatever. Anyway Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 for the NES. Tried beating them when I was a kid and it never worked out just like most NES games I have played and tried to beat. Obviously a lot easier when your older.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World on the Master System even though I used to play it when I was younger I never finished it until recently.
Golden Sun, finally finished it. Lost the cartridge at the final boss when it first came out, so in total took me 9 years to beat that game (lol).
Those are Legacy platform games? Gamestop still sells Gamecube games.TLoZ: Wind Waker
Started SM Sunshine yesterday. Great game and completely underrated imo.

Well not that I've finished it but I am 20 stars into Super Mario 64. Hope to be at least 40 by the end of the week. It depends on how much I play I guess. This game is just absolutely incredible.

it seems that the official definition of legacy is that it is not the current generation of consoles, not sure on the definition of legacy for pc, but considering platforms were on a 6 year cycle on average for who knows how long i think a safe bet for pc games is it must be 6 years old... of course in my mind legacy is n64 and older, red alert 2/civ3 era and older, but that's just me, some kids here weren't born when RA2 came out...

If PS2 is considered legacy considering they are still releasing games then GC is definitely legacy also good point. also, you're the luckiest man in the world if you can still find a store that sells GC. I couldn't even find a store that sold them when they were current gen :D.[QUOTE="Emerald_Warrior"][QUOTE="Gamecubeftw"]

If PS2 is considered legacy considering they are still releasing games then GC is definitely legacy also Yeah, PS2 isn't legacy either. Anything that has released a game within the last few years, cannot be considered legacy. You guys are funny.[QUOTE="Emerald_Warrior"][QUOTE="Gamecubeftw"]

Parasite Eve. I've owned that game for several years and cleared it several times, this time marked the first time I beat the EX Game Boss... Tough as hell.

But at the top of the forum boards for legacy platforms where it states you must indicate what game system you are talking about it lists PS2 as an example. So because Gamespot says so, it must be true. Right. Maybe I can accept Gamecube as a Legacy Platform, since there aren't games being released for it anymore. But no way PS2 is a legacy platform, there are still games yet to come out on it. A Legacy Platform is something that is outdated, is no longer in popular use (outside of hardcore gamers), and no longer has game releases. @bigM10231: Homebrew doesn't count. I'm talking about new commercial releases.[QUOTE="Emerald_Warrior"][QUOTE="common_fate"] It's still considered legacy.
