Down at gamestop thy have gamecubes fo sale at $30, and they also have a copy of MGS: Twin Snakes for $30 as well. Would you say Twin Snakes is worth around $60?

I've beaten all the games in the series, every handheld, every console, even the PC versions. Except for Twin Snakes that is..

Twin Snakes is exactly the same as the first MGS, with very minor differences, not including graphics. I wouldnt if I was you, because its the same experience, some prefer the original to Twin Snakes, so its totally up to you, if you want MGS in fancy graphics, go for it, otherwise, dont bother.

If your getting it just for one game then its not worth it. But if your going to get other Gamecube games then it'll be a good deal.

Yes for $60 bucks why the hell not. And if you can find other Gamecube games for cheap later on and play them...why not?

I'd say yes to the game, no to the system. I'd reccomend you save up a bit more and buy a wii to play it on

Sure $30 dollars is not to much for Gamecube. If you really want Twin Snakes then yes.

i know many have said to get a Wii as an option, but I wouldn't. He'd have to pay 220 bucks more(Wii system-250, MGS Twin snakes-$30). he can use the 220 to buy the all of the best GC games out there, which would last him a long time. The Wii has ver few good games to begin with, with all those shovelware and mini-game compilations they have. But that's just me

Ive honestly been thinking of picking up a gamecube again myself... The fact that gamestop has them for $30 bucks is very tempting... There are a few games I missed out on playing last gen.

Go for it. $60 is the same price as a new game.

30 bucks is a great deal for Twin Snakes. I got it for for 50 dollars back in the day and I've played it more than some of the recent $60 games I've purchased for Xbox 360 and PS3.

I'm playing Twin Snakes on my Wii right now and I'm lovin' it. It's worth $60 for a gc and the game. As far as buying a wii for this game, it would be expensive after buying a gc memory card and controller too.

Take it from me, I JUST bought a used GameCube for $30 at Gamestop the other day, it has been a solid investment until I get a 360 again. You could just buy the system and the game and beat it, then return it with the system and get your $60 back. Otherwise you can keep it and play some of the great under $10 titles they have. I've bought 6 GameCube games for exactly $30, so I'm sure you can find something you like.

If you're a hardcore Metal Gear fan, it's probably worth it. But like people have already said, it's no different from the original Metal Gear Solid except that it runs on the same engine as Metal Gear Solid 2.

Well I would say so... make sure you're aware of the differences between TTS and MGS1 so you won't be disappointed with it.

See if you have a friend that would let you borrow their Gamecube for awhile for 10 bucks. They most likely don't play it, and they could get payed.

I wouldn't buy the Gamecube, man. I haven't bought a Wii yet, but I know I will. For the time being, if I come across a cheap/rare/amazing GC game, I'll buy it. Yes, I know I can't play it, but I don't want to pay $50 for Twin Snakes or Beyond Good and Evil when I actually have a Wii.....it's up to you though, man, but the Gamecube console seems pretty pointless now.

No. You should buy the Gamecube Full Stop.
