I noticed this guy has posted about this everywhere at first I thought he was trolling until I started seeing him all over the web here he is

The funny thing is every site he complains to doesn't seem to care so why does he keep doing this? He goes by the name ZANIACK on every site he goes to except for gamespot.

The fact that the content of his posts are different between each board is slightly disturbing since it kind of suggests he isn't trolling. If he was trolling why not just copy and paste?

I think PD is not so much obsessed with the Bat's cape color as he is frustrated with everyone's apparent apathy towards it. Nobody cares and this is driving him insane. Either this guy's room is chock FULL of Batman stuff and he has a shrine in the corner, or he has too much time on his hands. Or both. Either way, I never fail to (still) find this funny as hell. Talk about pure dedication, no matter how misdirected. This guy's encourage-able.

I can't say what's more upsetting to me: the fact that he is making all of these posts, or the fact that you thought it was important enough to document this extensively.

Like I said I noticed him one to many times so I decided to do a google search and all those links appeared all I did was copy and paste.... Go to Google and try for yourself type in "Batman Arkham City Blue Cape". I just thought it would be something funny to share with the gaming community obviously the guys a troll.

It isn't a big deal the thing that baffles everyone is his concern over a cape color.... He is so determined to prove to the world that it's blue and no one gives a f**k.

And that's what his whole issue is. He doesn't care about the color so much, he cares that nobody else acknowledges it. I can actually see where he's coming from in some cases. The cape does in fact look blue in some shots/videos. But given the lighting and the irrelevance of such a minor detail, I can't see how anyone could become so obsessed.

This is what f*cking enrages me to no end, this oblvious bullsh*t. There isn't one spot for one moment in the game world that the cape doesn't appear blue in other than pitch black darkness!(In Arkham City) Arkham Asylum is a much better game, but I can't even play it or reflect back on it with fondess solely because of that f*cking design choice. At least in Arkham City it was obvious, the cape was a significantly lighter shade of blue and inside the lighting in AA gave the illusion of a black cape at a glance with default settings. And Arkham City has DLC skins, one of which is free and has an adequate semi dark dull grey cape and cowl. Ever since I leerned and reluctantly accepted the truth about Arkham Asylum, I can't play the game without lowering the in game brightnes, TV brightness and color options just to be able to enjoy the damn game. But even when I'm straining my eyes staring at the Batman character model up near a wall any place in the Asylum, I compare the cape/cowl to his black bat symbol. And guess what? Much of the time they seem identical at a glance, but I know better. What is known cannot be unknown. I'll then adjust the settings to the other end of the spectrum and then the true colors are shown(literally). Here's the raw textured AA character model, unaltered by environmental lighting/shading.

See the cowl? Dark navy blue, but still blue nonetheless.

Even if the cape and cowl is blue (which it isn't, it's merely lighting, I've seen many areas in the game where it's totally black) how is that enough to ruin the game for you? It's such a small detail that it hardly even matters.
