PS3 scoops exclusive Rockstar franchise: Credibility

I know in the article it says that Michael Shorrock, director of third-party relations at SCEA, confirmed the news on the official PlayStation blog, but i question this part; Here's the kick to the 360's nuts: "Rockstar really wanted to make a game that you can truly only do on PS3, harnessing the power of CELL and Blu-ray disc and this deal lets them do just that." Ouch...

That's only coming from a Sony point of view, is it still reliable and true?

This is not to start a console fight it's just to determine the credibility of the source.

R* is gaining a lot of respect, they've shown they can do more than GTA (Max Payne, Midnight Club, Bully) so Im a little intrested.

Yes,it is. Go the the playstation blog and they'll confirm it there too. And GameHead has confirmed it too through Jack Tretton himself. And the game isn't L.A Noire either. It's a brand new IP.

Whether or not it could only be done on PS3 is up in the air.

But that Rockstar is making a PS3-exclusive franchise is absolutely credible.

I know, but they had nothing to do with the development itself. I'm just tired of all these people that think Rockstar made Max Payne, it's not fair against Remedy (which is a company that deserves much more recognition than it gets).
