Popular game genres that you aren't crazy about

Most people have their favorite genres (or two), but is there a certain gaming genre that for whatever reason you just really don't like?

I don't like Tower Defense games. When they first became popular I tried a few, but never could get into them. Now I avoid completely avoid them.

Jrpgs.

FPS, with a few exceptions.

FPS. I don’t mind Halo though.

Anything that is tied to online gaming.

Most simulator games. Whether that be boxing, walking, farming, to aircraft.

Usually when developers dub something a simulator experience I've already checked-out.

platform games, tower defense, most side scroller games, with a few exceptions like last stand 2(an exquisite game). I usually don't like turn based games. Also BR games.

Special mentions: Five nights at Freddy, five nights at Freddy 2,

Battle royal games I just can’t get into. Apex legends is sorta fun, but the entire time I’m playing it I’m thinking how much I would rather be playing Titan fall 2 or black ops 4.

RTSs

Soccer Games

FPS although I genuinely enjoyed Borderlands series.

Soulsborne games although I do find Code Vein to be interesting because of its character creation tools than its core gameplay.

I don't love openworld games and rogue-lites with very few exceptions.

Couldn't give a shit about BR.

FPS, becuase my aiming is suck and i know i will never be good at shooting games.

I don't like RPG games at all, taking turns to hit each other in a 20 or 30 minute battle is not my idea of fun.

Shooters

Open world games

Pseudo RPG ... like more shooter or action game with a leveling up system so they can make a slower game and limit your progression with that ...

Nowadays everything has RPG stat to the point it is super diluted

Fetch quest any of them. Do it your damn self.

@sleepnsurf: Fetch quests, escort quests (the dumb jerks you are supposed to be escorting always seem to go out of their way to complicate things), and timed quests (kills my whole slow grind approach) are three things I can't stand in many games.

Battle royale.

Fighters

JRPGs / WRPGs, anything with anime, movie games, and 2D fighters.

Online team looting games, battle royale, etc. Fighting games with only a few exceptions

Military FPS. Playing the likes of Doom and Painkiller Black, as well as the recent DUSK, which is awesome, has ruined slow paced FPS for me. Give me that fast movement any day.

Not really in love with Dark Souls type games, maybe one day I'll git gud though.

Rhythm and Racing.

For me: MOBAs. Which sucks considering how many good MOBAs have been made.

Open World with the exception of Breath of the Wild.
