This has been posted before, but there is actually a discussion going on right now about this. Some say this isn't new at all and it's been used in previous Delta Force games.
Others say this isn't possible at all how they explained it.
Who knows. We'll see in a few years. I do think that someone made a valid point: 'if it would actually work, they would have gotten a game developer to make a better demostration. A real one'.
Not this again.
It's not new technology, and it doesn't even look good. It's the same 4 damn meshes repeated over and over again because it takes way too much memory to store them in a voxel or point cloud representation, and it has none of the advanced shading and lighting that's frequently used in real-time graphics. There is much better research in this field being conducted by academics and professionals who actually publish their work, rather than just posting videos on youtube with a soundtrack filled with the ridiculous claims and hyperbole of a guy looking to stir up investor interest in his half-baked tech. There's a reason he's been doing this for 8 years now and still has nothing but an ugly demo to show for it.

No their team is only of 9 people, there's no way they can afford an artist/ game developer. Someone will have to volunteer.
