when i first bought MGS4 I played it all the way through in one sitting, cutscenes and all. :) I'm a nerd like that. Only second to that would be my sessions with Chrono Cross and FFX.
I managed to beat Dragon Quest VIII in 75 hours over the course of 4 days, and each of my 15 hour sittings were only interrupted by one 4 hour nap and a few bathroom and food breaks. Doubt it all you want, but it happened.

That's scary to be honest. I'm not sure why anyone would pace themselves like that. I mean you wait ages for a game to be released, then aim to complete it as fast as possible. What's the point?
Do you mean one sitting as in bathroom breaks or just continous play? For the former a good 20-24 hours on Diablo II and the latter probably 12 or 16 hours for the same game.

IMO, that's extremely impressive. I love DQVIII, but playing that amount in a short time would drive me crazy. Some of the sound effects/music begin to drive me crazy after just a few hours. But kudos for your accomplishment. For myself, my longest gaming sessions have been on Oblivion. I've spent 15-16 hours straight on many occasions with this gem of a game. I guess I did the same earlier this year on Gears of War 1 & 2, as I was obsessed with beating all of the campaigns on every difficulty, which I did. Probably spend 8-10 hours straight each time through.
27 hours on Diablo 2, and again when Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction was released. Played it at a LAN with 3 friends and had a great time in our race to complete it. I don't have the stamina for doing that any more :)
The first time I ever sat down to play Myst, I didn't stop until 30 or so hours later when I completed it. Yes, I got up to use the restroom, but that was the only times I got up. Food was even brought to me. Crazy, I know, but that was one heck of a game for a 15 year old.
Like 3 1/2 hours, I can't do anything for too long other than homework...but that's only because my brain alters into being some kind of evil monster that won't allow anything to distract from the work at hand whilst doing homework.
Not too sure. Usually when a new game comes i've been waiting for for ages (Assassins Creed 2, BioShock2, Mass Effect 2) i'll usually get it day one, lock myself away with some food and drink, turn my phone off and switch off from the world for a day. I rarely ever get to do this anymore, but when i do it's amazing :)
